The question asked was whether the one who took the deal should out it immediately or wait. The response was to have 2-3 people targeting the same person. I don't see how either of those works if they don't out it. And besides, even IF they keep it to themselves then the TOWN ALSO doesn't know who is Hated, so same problem.

It's not reliable for 1 person to cop a target, it would require 2 at least for each target. But the returns diminish quickly to the point I don't think it's the viable path.

The target gets flavor flipped AND town has to out that they're hated in order to do so. This wasn't given to be a town power. It was given to scum so that they aren't stuck with no nightkills and select town may happen to find use for it.

Ryuk having to kill Light himself OR survive the game doesn't cut it in that case, if scum aren't hit day 1 (they were here but not the point) the numbers are still there to pull 3p and have the numbers sacrificing Light. Scum might still have been able to have majority if A50 as a tree stump still counts for scums numbers. And Even's quick wincon directly incentives working with scum to use the eyes and find their target. It just so happens town beat the clock there.
