Gamma deserves a fairly long description for not much conclusion. He's jumping to conclusions I can understand him making but I don't remember seeing his scumgame so I'd rather not lean on meta too much there and the conclusions are kinda shit. I'd like it if maybe he'd put some stock in my lie detecting rather than continuing to vote Flubber, especially after that upick he technically modded, but I'm not entirely convinced he read the game

What's the best argument on Blatant Scum currently?

I know I intended to respond to this because I need to outline some shit with Blatant Scum here. Apologies for the wordiness;

The guy has taken two directly contrasting stances- he did some shit I considered scummy then asked why those actions were scummy, doubling down on having done them, and then stated he was too scummy to be scum. In doing so, he was not only accepting that those things that he did were scummy, but also propagating the fallacy he was trying to get people to believe when he doubled down on his scummy shit by asking why it was scummy to do it. I think it helps the case here that, as Egix said, this is exactly the kind of shit I'd expect someone who called their account "Blatant Scum" to pull.

But otherwise the claim itself just doesn't come from scum. A scum commuter could get away with not claiming anything at all there. In terms of how lies are crafted, the main decision for scum would be whether or not to claim the commuter aspect, and it would take a particularly inspired individual to append a miller claim to it. I do not think Flubbernugget is such an individual.

Although I say that as someone that doesn't see an inherent issue with discrediting in general. As an example, in this case, while scum!gamma would benefit from discrediting a list with scum!gamma on it, town!gamma would know for a fact that part of the list was wrong.

I was flipflopping on Gamma as well but he swung the scales hard towards town a few pages ago
