For the sake of trying to get 19 on a wagon, it'd be better if you picked one of the 3 leading wagons rn.

I'd be happy to look at UT or Wooper tomorrow.
I mean (1) we may not need 19 on a wagon and (2) the whole reason I’m trying to shop around is because I personally am not super keen on the idea of lynching town today
Can you walk me through why Vork is town? I think you mentioned it a while ago, but can I get a tldr?

What are your thoughts on Amrun's list of ppl who can harm town?

I would. I haven't had any interaction with Vork, so I'd prefer TSE who is actually scummy versus a null read.

My pitch to you is twofold:
1. There's no need to rush a TSE lynch.
2. Vork is a good alternative to TSE (especially for you).

On the first point: TSE's behaviour might look scummy, but that same behaviour can come from town or 3p. With that in mind, I'd say a more reliable way of reading TSE is through the flavour of his role.

If you go read the flavour of Drew's execution, you'll see that TSE is a spider person. TSE confirmed this later, saying his name is something like "goblin eater." Assuming TSE is telling the truth about the goblin aspect of his role, all we have to do is wait until we figure out where goblins fit into this game. If goblins are exclusively scum, then TSE is likely town. If goblins are mixed scum and town, then TSE is likely 3p. If there's no goblins, TSE lied and he's scum. In all 3 of these cases, we can figure out TSE's role if we wait for more information. There's no need to rush a lynch on TSE.

Looking at Vork for the second point: he's cruising under the radar, lurking, and disregarding the seriousness of his wagon. It's possible he's disinterested town, but I'd say it's more likely he's scum trying to downplay the pushes on him. The wagonomics of D1 points to Vork being possible scum, as he was the alternative wagon to Drew.

Finally, considering the fact that you're the third wagon, and recalling that TSE will be sorted later, your best play should be to join on Vork.

Appealing to my sense of wagonomics, I'm in until I can verify. I also like the rationale especially compared to the reasons some players got on my wagon.

Sometimes the world needs someone who operates outside the law. Who can see the guilt in a man, even if the police can't find it and his role card is green. Sometimes what a client wants is dirt. I don't discriminate. I work for whoever pays me. That's the life I signed up for, and there ain't no other line of work for a fella like me.

But I always hated guys like TrueSoulEnergy. They're the only clients I'd always turn down, aside from organized crime. Guys who got by being scumbags just because there weren't any laws against being a pain in the ass to everyone you meet. You ever meet a world-weary woman who can't ever trust a man again? That's because of guys like that. Treat people wrong without doing anything illegal. They know where the lines are, that kind of guy. Even if they don't think about it, at their core, the fringes of the line... that's who they are. I don't give a damn if he's a man, a spider-man or a bat-man. They're all the same. Besides, even the dumbest crooks know not to tell you they're crooks. That's what the folks down at city hall call "safe flavor."

Sometimes a fella just deserves to be taken out. Even if you hadn't a clue what color his card was, which in this case I didn't. You just can't tell if this kind of guy is a killer because they talk like a killer, act like a killer, look like a killer. Real hard to tell the difference between a scumbag and a killer. I might do it myself, and I might not. But sure as hell I wouldn't shed a tear if someone else did.

Easier to think when guys like that aren't scumming it up distracting everyone with their inane boasting and worthless assertions.

Some people believe in palm readers. Some believe in star signs. In my line of work, you don't get far trusting voodoo magic over your gut. Give me the chance to read people and some quality witness testimony anyday.

Feeling much better. Fever spiked to 103.8 F on Monday night, off to the doctor for the third round of antibiotic injection on top of oral antibiotics. The last few days have been...interesting.

I think this is the only active mafia game I’m playing in right now, so it will have my undivided attention as I mend.

TSE is more likely 3p than scum + there's still a possibility of him being town. I think davesaz mentioned that a little while ago if you want to go back and find it.

In short, we should have a better idea of TSE's his alignment once we flip scum somewhere else.
If scum factions(s) is/are goblins, there's a very high chance TSE is town.
If scum = pretty much anything else, TSE is probably 3p SK or something.
I've already stated i think TSE is unlikely to flip scum. That doesn't take away the fact that I'm interested if anyone is scumreading there.
Also I think it's +
town
sanity if we keep a role around that lets us have easier lynches.

And with a misstep on TSE's part wrt the use of his powers, we can always lynch there next.
I'd lynch this.
