I genuinely think that 15p dance is such a novelty idea for team mafia that it should deserve an exception to the rule of being lynched as town if the staff ever plans to use that to score points.
But that's also me being selfish so I apologize.
A bit unrelated but I do think it would be good to discuss about how scoring points too because now that I think about it, deducting points to being lynched as town might make townies more survivalist and survivalist is one of the tools in scum hunting so...I think it also damages scum hunting itself a bit but at the same time I'm not sure there's better alternatives on scoring points.-

i mean i think scoring only really matters in terms of winning/losing game
whatever game i'm in if i'm alive to d2 or d3 is probably going to lynch me because of who i am and that being held against me is kinda unfair2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.-

Scum gendering seems ideal.
Gay or straight might be a bigger question.
Whether we can actually do a nightless when the Team Mafia administration specifically said a factional NK game is probably bigger bigger question."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"-

I don't think that randomizing it out is a bad idea. It would be slightly akin to randomizing PRs in other setups. In post 100, OkaPoka wrote:how do we get gender distribution
I don't think it makes that great of a difference especially because if TM this year is an event about the team with the best all-around tool skills, being able to be picked to a dance as a lady (being able to be town read) or being able to make a optimal pairing as gentleman (scum-hunting/town-hunting) are both skills related to scum/town play anyway.-

Micc said "nightkill or something akin to it" more or less so I don't think the mechanic of mafia forcing some pairs leave the dance isn't similar enough to the factional nightkill to be rejected only for that. Although I can be wrong and it's not my place to approve or reject it.In post 107, RadiantCowbells wrote:I mean, scum does have one factional nightkill.-

I kind of think double lynches would be more ideal than double day games because of the rules/what micc is going for here but I guess we can try to convince him otherwise. In post 110, RadiantCowbells wrote:i'm also considering like a double day game of some sort?-

I guess they are very similar but I would say that a bit different. In post 115, RadiantCowbells wrote:wdym double lynches versus double day? are they different?
double lynches don't disturb the day/night cycle while also being less swing to scum because you can't reconsider one of the lynches with the other one flip, it's set in stone. Let's take Baton Pass as an unhappy example I guess.
When we lynched Oh/Oka, if Oh had flipped town and we hadn't yet lynched Oka, or maybe the reverse and Oka had been lynched while Oh not yet, the surprise/reconsidering that town did next day would have been made before and the next flip would have more information than the first.
If it's a double lynch though town has exact the same amount of information to both flips and it changes less the game from a vanilla aspect other than it being faster.
Double day allows town to lynch someone, consider the information and decide on the next target though.-

Last time the determination of who wins was determined by total game wins and the scoring system was like the last tiebreakerIn post 103, OkaPoka wrote:points are scored if your alignment wins?<Embrace The Void>

The winrate is balanced but towns play the setup mechanically wrong repeatedly. In post 120, gobbledygook wrote:What’s the current winrate for scum in dance games? Hasn’t the setup been determined to be townsided?
It'd be like saying C9 is scumsided because towns are massclaiming day one repeatedly and losing."Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
