The boy had given himself up. Sure, he played a little tune on the side... but in the end his song was done. And he'd die just like all the other people he came to Cobble with. All run by a madwoman -- or, rather, a mad female snake thing -- that thought the world of themselves. So many lives have been lost in this fine place... so many things have become vastly different than the day this all began.

But maybe, just maybe, the town can survive.

Finally... a night where there were no meaningless deaths. Perhaps things simply went perfectly. Or perhaps they just want you to think they went perfectly. Either way, it was a nice change of pace and came with a huge sigh of relief from the baroness overlooking her city. She wanted to hope for the best but knew the worst had, perhaps, yet to come.

One man in particular found who he was looking for. It had been a while since the town had gotten any use from him, but who knows? Maybe this isn't anything they'll want either.

The history books are written by the victors, after all.
