That's the Occam's razor angle, but it could be other things. He could have messed up reading a scum role PM and brilliantly made lemonade: he thought he was scum roleblocker, but he got mixed up and his partner is, which makes a jk fakeclaim more difficult so he used a truth with great lie ingredients and did the selfvote claim retraction. Gobble did an incredibly strong fakeclaim in one of his past games so it can't be put out of range for him. The AtE element is more unfamiliar to me coming from him which is what makes me lean strongly towards he's just a VT

Profii is doubly awesome in the fact that he both shot scum and saved us from a game in which Not_Mafia would have posted. Yes, I do admit I teared up a bit.
