My discussions there that included possible scum!50 have always been about what could be happening, not about what I actually think is happening.
For me that's a massive difference. I put a big gap between mod confirmed and obvious, and another big gap between obvious and likely.

i got a PM reply about Desperate. all Boon will confirm is that the disloyal for millers/mafia is definitely correct. and that dying on a success is game and mod dependent. there's also the variant Gamma has used previously where Desperate slots die against town and work against scum/millers, but there's no evidence of that being in this game.

It's more likely than not any given other player is town. If scum know your role and have you earmarked for death, then outing doesn't help. There are probably downsides to outing, so I wouldn't bother unless you think you can create decent synergy with other roles by claiming.

Weak means it kills him on scum
Therefore from Almost's perspective he can only be somewhere in the middle.

Therefore, from his perspective Nips is a Miller. I however think that means he could also be third party, but that's just me.

Actually that would make sense but still doesn’t explain the lack of a recharge because if his action only works on scum, then he should either get a refund or be dead, because mech-wise, how is hitting town any different wrt that than being blocked or whatever? That’s what’s not making any sense to me.

For it to be 3p it would need to investigate as guilty to a cop for the role to succeed. Even then, I'm not sure because weak can be "dies on mafia" or "dies on not your alignment".

3P isn’t necessarily antitown, is it? unless SK or something? In OK 1, only SK role was actually scum.

If scum has decided your role is a threat you're gone anyway. If you got information from night 1 it's worth outing. If it will give information post death it doesn't matter I guess, we get it either way.
