I don’t believe there is any way that mastina has in reality a 90% of the time accurate scumtell for FL, and everything I know of mastina says that when she’s being honest she’s not arrogant enough to believe she does

So mastina is lying or at the very least significantly exaggerating her confidence in an effort to push FL

I don’t really see the town!motivation mastina doing that, and I think this is explicitly scum!indicative

given that in her academy and extensive writings she repeatedly stressed the importance of honesty in communicating with your fellow town

The fact that she’s not doing so, I think probably, indicates to me that she’s not approaching this game in a way consistent with a town mindset

The simplest explanation is she’s just scum

However, I do have some respect for mastina’s scum game and so her push on FL/me being this transparently bad is making me wonder if she intentionally wants it to be seen as bad, which would indicate jester!mastina

Yes, I know it doesn’t mean there is one, but I’m saying I think that the two best explanations for mastina’s play thus far are (1) scum or (2) jester and as jester is an explicit possibility I’m considering it because I am concerned that mastina would not play scum this blatantly if she were scum

I didn't have any on those points specifically but on the read in general I was having some of the same issues you currently are

@Collector - After thinking about it, I think I understand her push after she brought up the tell thing, and hearing she was in PFUP, and I specifically thought about this because Menalque was also in that game.

So I create fake scum tells when I’m scum, and parts of last year, I started creating the false narrative of me mainly joking around and “distracting” people as scum, so I could go and win a few games without joking around ever. This has thus been broken, as I have been trolling around in a lot of my games now, especially early game. Sometimes I’m the do nothing lurker troll poster, sometimes I’m hyper posty trolling.

However, you also to have to realize, that I’m also just gonna troll around with DEB for the most part anyways. I know him IRL, it’s just gonna happen.

I also change my scum game drastically every game. If you look at all my scum games for last year, not a single one of them look similar, except maybe Anime UPick and Pokémon, however, Alchemist was my partner in both of those, and him and I have good chemistry.

Mastina has a history of misreading me because she tries to read based off her perception of my unorthodox playstyle without fully understanding just how much goes into it.

I have also tunneled town Mastina, so I’m not exempt by that from any means, but yeah. When i think of people who can’t read me either alignment, Mastina tops the list.

RCow is up there, but he just always scum reads me, so that’s a different story, different reasons, and I think he realizes that anyways
