Setups are hard to balance. I do believe setups were more scum sided and were over correcting a little now.

This setup wasn’t too bad. Picture the game of the vig shot missed.

It was frustrating that A50 went into all that toxic shit about me being terrible when I mostly wanted any D3 lynch that didn't require me to fullclaim with my innocent on Frank, and wanted to hurry to this phase where it was probably over, my terribly inaccurate scumread was just a nullread.

But I realize it is probably more about how A50 views me than the situation and he'll probably be like that to me again sometime, whatever

I really hate the setup spec and strong-in-a-boring-way roles of normal queue and almost never play normal queue, but Menalque was moderator for this game so I joined it to attempt to cause menalquesmiles

to be fair, this was definitely the most interesting normal game I've played in thus far, so there's that!

There is some discussion in dead thread, and there were certainly some oversights: for instanced I thought that 1shot vig would be strongly incentivised to stay quiet to maximise the odds of shooting scum later in the game — I didn’t consider the possibility of them outing D1 as likely, which in turn made the psychologist more powerful

I will say that I appreciate the time and energy that the NRG put into the normal queue. It is literally a thankless job and it is also fairly labor intensive reading over role pms, rules, and setup design.

missed the ball with the motion detector, but otherwise town played very well day 1/n1 and it pretty much changed the identity of the game

the normals aren't redsided enough for me to be interested in playing them because I don't volunteer to be in NRG

Fmpov it would have been balanced without motion detector given how it played out:

Town absolutely deserved to have 2 scum down by the end of D2 imo, but also deserved to struggle through for not having a healthy enough scepticism towards PP’s claim
