In post 1774, Maki and Kaito wrote:Most of the early posting wasn't made by maria, so judging my posts by saying maria is a good scum player doesn't really cut it for me

More importantly, as I've pointed out, it makes your read here feel fake - you're not really thinking about it, you're just saying things
I read your (as in, your hydra’s) early posts, thought they were fine.
I realized Maria is in your hydra, and figured I should hold your slot to a higher standard as Maria is well known as a good scum player.
This is the extent of my effort in sorting you. I didn’t go back to see which head posted what, nor did I provide a read on you because I don’t have one.
So I don’t know how you can really call a nonexistent read “fake”, but it looks like you misrepresented this situation pretty hard and are making an unproportional amount of noise about a throwaway post. :)

the biggest thing that can probably get the point that I find his entire approach to the game very bizarre is this post.

Namely, look at that entire page and try to figure out where exactly this post came from.
goddamit Ankamius
why aren't you considering:
i checked back through the thread and read ascetic related discussion which prompted that question
i was thinking about the scum/town ratio for ascetic people
don't actually remember the reason but probably one of those

Sherlock is right in that i posted my opinion of how Leafy is feeling obvtown because of mason slipping
then asked a question about something else which could cast doubt on that read
then explained further about the mason slipping thing since people might not see why

how is that thought process scummy?

Look, if you're town, obvtown. You should know by now that thinking about how you feel comes off worse than falling flat on your face. I didn't directly say so in the beginning but I explicitly said out there reads are a-ok.
k

the fundamental thing is that my stated reads list was literally RNGed.

I'm purposely playing obtusely because what I posted earlier as Alisae's draft and play strategy is exactly what I would expect from em in this type of game, one with a lot of stronger town players with just as much paranoia potential. What I would do is plan around trying to maximize the paranoia and proactively shutting down as many avenues of town being able to properly find each other as possible, hence why I expect the general idea is that Alisae separated the playerlist into "Drafted", "Killed", and "Neutralized" lists.

I know that I wasn't picked to be scum, so I obviously wasn't put into that list. The interesting thing is that I can be put into either of the other two lists, since I both know that Alisae has the awareness of my threat level to want to have me killed in a lot of scenarios, and also know that e is aware that I have exploitable weaknesses (via my breakdowns in the YAYVIDEOGAMES hydra) that would push me into the "Neutralize" camp.

my hope was that I would be a general null scumread floating along on day one without giving away too many of my thoughts so that it would be all that more weird in the case I get nightkilled on N1 (since I'd expect that Alisae would already have a good idea of his first 2-3 kills in most scenarios)... which gives town some interesting information considering that I'm not a popular townread. Plus, in the case that I'm on the fence between the kill and neutralize list, or there are other players in the kill list that are higher priority right away, I'd get more content to work with and a nightkill that would help me narrow down what Alisae was thinking with eir draft order and general angle they're playing the game with.

buuuuuuut I was pressured several times into giving reads, so I'd hoped that the reads list I put out looked bad enough to get scrutiny I could analyze as well as stop me from being townread enough to be an obvious nightkill going into night one. I died night one in AvP and I can't be satisfied with my performance in that game, so it would be kinda nice to be able to play the mindgames with the scum treestump that I wasn't able to do in the last one. I wanted to get enough wiggle room to hopefully make an actual impact in the game before my inevitable death and now I'm not sure it's particularly avoidable anymore honestly

if it helps though, I have four slots I'm pretty certaint are town and four slots I'm scumreading. There's one slot I'm a lot more certain on than others, but I'm avoiding outing it at the moment because I haven't entirely ruled out them being a mason yet.

I'm not outing my reads at this point because I still see more value in watching the game unfold as an observer rather than an active participant.

your plan was to intentionally be a nullscumread
so that it gives town information in the case that Ali kills you N1?
why would Ali kill you if you were floating around as a nullscumread?

so to stop being pressured into giving reads, you thought it was a good idea to put a RNG list out where you can't explain any of the reads people will inevitably ask you to explain?
was the Spiffeh read made up or fabricated when someone asked you for it directly following that list?

Gobbledygook/Bitmap are town reads of mine based on their play and posts, and position in the gamestate.

Spiffeh/Espeonage/Frozen Angel I think probably have scum in them based on their place in this game mixed with the drafting process and my other reads.

Okapoka’s probably just scum, especially if Krazy is town.

RR, idk, null.

OkaPoka/Maki/Espeonage is my way too early scum team, with probably like Spiffeh/FA.

I feel this isn’t fair. Most of my posts this game prior to today had literally been directed towards Bitmap, and Titus, Bitmap, Alisae, Math, and Chkflip just met up like a week and a half ago, so there’s momentum from that.

I think it’s more than just pick spec as you mentioned. I think Bitmap’s read and the fact that he is having trouble expressing it completely in the first part is incredibly townie.
this is just garbage
Another evidence of me time travelling since flavor pushed me first yes
