Apparently the delay in posting notes was because vex wanted to talk to UT to make sure they weren't breaking rules doing so

But seriously, you apparently didn't get what I said (or rather what jjh was saying). There was no delay. The notes were posted 15 minutes into the day. It's the upload time that makes it suspicious. the gap between when it was uploaded and when the day started. 105 minutes is enough time for scum to review the notes and okay them before they were posted in the main thread.

Anyway, that isn't a good reason to prove/disprove anything so I'll drop it.

Like, jjh though it would suck if Vex spent all night catching up and writing down notes and then something happened that prevented him from posting in the main thread, so posting them in the hood would have been nice to preserve them somehow.

1- How long before daystart were the notes posted in the hood? Did vex use them to inform his decision to roleblock dave? Like, did he post them and say he was voting dave (or going to vote him) based on them?

2- I also retract the "big secret" remark in my case on panth, as it appears he was quoting Volpe on that post (265) having a big secret tier in his reads and calling that weird.

I'd have to go back and match up the time stamps but my memory says it was nearer the end of the night or at least the second half of it

It was about two hours before day started, so long after the vote deadline

The next post he made after the notes was him saying he wasn't sure about me but he was completely sure maria was town

But if anything, his notes being posted so late just reinforces his assertion that he hadn't read the game and had deferred to Maria in the earlier part of the night when he voted. A situation I can empathize with.

I had to wake up early to vote yesterday and then passed out on my couch after board game night

panth's responses to Almost and kuribo weren't great, I'm leaning towards just voting him but I'll do my due diligence and read the shit I've been meaning to first. I'm a little burnt out so it still might not be tonight but I have tomorrow night completely free so def. by then.

main thing I was against locktowning davesaz for was the action to reveal the vote steal/vig neighborhood night one; it's a lot more 'precise' of a move if scum had every other neighborhood known to them (commuter neighborhood outed + scum in all 4 other neighborhoods). It makes the MOST sense for this play to be made to determine the last power that is unknown to them.

But, the thing that makes it not a particularly strong point is that it's just as easy to justify that same play under the guise of "we don't need to shut off any particular actions, let's find out what one unknown action is and block between the two." Plus it would make sense for scum to want to keep blocking the inventor shots, and the Farkran kill (Farkran being from that inventor neighborhood) when Deasvail was a potential mislynch target does provide some evidence against scum having knowledge of the composition of that neighborhood. It would make a lot more sense to kill from the Vote Steal neighborhood N1 if they knew all the compositions since Chenn/A50 were far too townread to be viable mislynches, and even though I was potentially one myself, they know better than to count on it happening. It's too much of a risk since I'm a bit of a wildcard player; it's more likely that the remaining two from this neighborhood will remain alive, so killing within it and seeing what happens with the inventor neighborhood on day 2 is a much safer play for the strategy they were pulling.

the overall strategy is pretty obvious, they tried to control all of the neighborhood compositions to minimize town's use of the LMS abilities, this is evident by itself from how much effort they took removing people from the neighborhoods with 3 people in them, as well as removing firebringer from the vengeful hood when they did

it's just sloppy play to go about the first couple nights the way they did if they already knew who was in every single neighborhood
