Also whether you’ve played with him or not, my point was that I said that this was similar to his towngame and it felt like you were choosing to ignore that to push a slot that you thought was mislynchable

Although I don’t think you’re S/S and rn i think suji is more likely to flip scum than you

But Suji was my first real vote early on in the game...I jumped on them before anyone else did.
I understand that you said it's similar to his towngame but there are also players saying it's like his scum game. So I don't know who to listen to.

Well I though they were an aggressive noob but given that Ank is very experienced and I have some experience with them (albeit a loooooong time ago) it seems more like their town game.

my main thing with the get a room feature is that I think overuse is gonna be anti-town

like main thread is dead enough as things stand, and if people are spending most of their time in rooms instead of in main thread it's going to be a lot of second hand reading (X: "yeah Y is being really towny in our room") vs direct reading

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when two players are in a room together, they cannot at all post about each other. I feel that early room-seeking is more likely to come from mafia than town. I don't see why a town player would want to self-restrict their voice.

But what about two townies?

I appreciate the skepticism, I think it reads town. But we are being given a tool, we might as well use it.

And yes, mess up. Generally when I’m Mafia with a town PT I feel much more pressured because the spotlight is on me. That has to be compounded with two players trying to keep their story straight.

This reminds me of a game where I was mafia in a PT with a third party player, and we both knew the other was scum but his mechanic was like a bomb so I couldn't kill him without dying, and he couldn't push me because I'd take him down with me, so we both pretended to be town and scumhunt together in the PT. Not at all relevant, but it made me chuckle.
