1. Town lynched Slaxx. We were praying for it but I didn't think it would ever happen.

This by the way. This killed every last ounce of motivation i had for this game. I basically forfeited my night action after that and did the stupidest thing imaginable because i was genuinely so frustrated over not only strongarmong the protective lynch, but also driving him to a self hammer. Like. Ugh.

No offense Chem but I felt like your lynch was inevitable D1. I just wanted to get on at a good spot. In hindsight I should have actually pushed a case instead of just sitting and waiting for the lynch to complete. I got complacent because I was just so sure town was going to lynch you.

It was my impression that all of the chatter near the end of and after my lynch was just town players trying to prevent their own NK by accusing everyone of being scummy. Maybe I am pessimistic but I think they already have Menalque dead to rights. Especially after my terrible play.

Yeah I probably don't understand the concept of power in this game, because it certainly didn't feel that way from my point of view. Our choices felt mostly forced on us by the setup, but maybe we just weren't clever enough to see all the possibilities.

I had to kill Slaxx because he replaced Wilky I also made the mistake of forgetting certain people were in the game - I wasn't as familiar with the player list as I should've been

that was deemed to be to scumsided so we adjusted the ascetic to be activatable, made the goon an ecrypter, and made the strongman 1-shot.
We then ungated the roleblocker, added a combined tracker/follower.

this leaves us with

Town Rolestopper
Town Combined Follower/Tracker
Town Ascetic

vs.
Scum Informed Doctor Activated Ascetic (there is a cop)
Informed Encrypter (there's a roleblocker)

The idea was that scum's strength was the information it had and to adjust their strategy going into the day with that information.
The 1-shot strongman was supposed to go first. Bussing that gives scum a lot of room to discredit claims.
Apparently, according to NRG, this is 50/50 balanced but swingy and I don't mind swing so...

After that we had no more power left to do anything except hope and pray that town lynched their rolestopper so that we wouldn't be left with cop #2 (follower/tracker) plus doctor #2 (rolestopper) plus a roleblocker.

I mean, if you flip a 1-SHOT Strongman first, this becomes a lot easier, the investigatives don't have macho, you argue that the setup was designed around FTC as all well designed setups are.
