I read an argument on a previous page, and with my magicly disjointed way of thinking, I think I may have thought that the argument was in Jester's post. Turns out the argument was my own on Page 9.

I unvoted, because I saw believe That we shouldn't be too hasty to find scum. If one more person was to vote, we would have lost more opportunities to unveil scum. Lets give it til the deadline til we make our votes.

That would mean even if you somehow "believed you saw a case", you still wouldn't vote, but you did. Also, it was your own argument so I don't see how you could possibly think it was mine.

The deadline is approaching. We don't gain anything from waiting, and those opportunities to find scum are what Day 2, etc are for.

Wow. Apothecary is acting weird. I don't like this "disjointed mind" excuse. And I also don't like how he just jumped on my bandwagon putting me at L -1. I mean, I think at that point, there was a good possibility of me being the jester. I'm actually starting to like him a little for being a jester right now. He's definitely calling attention to himself. And maybe he knew it was safe to put me at L -1.

In any case, there's no reason for me to act jestery any more since it's pretty much been proven that I am not the jester. (But, you know, guys, you should have thought of that BEFORE you put me at L -1.) I was following the Skruffs plan. Now, I don't want to hear any more yelling or arguing about why you guys think it's stupid. Here's the thing. The Mafia will have a distinct advantage in this game once the jester is gone. At that point, everyone can start acting town and the Mafia will find it easy to blend in. The town will have no power roles, and will be in lylo fairly soon after that. You can all throw temper tantrums if you want about the horribleness of what I did, but if three experienced players (me, Skruffs, Xtoxm) are all thinking it's a decent idea, it can't be completely off base.

I'm convinced that the actual scum are hiding amongst the people who are trying really hard to act townie right now. That's why I fingered Kmd earlier. I am convinced there's at least one scum amongst Kmd, forbiddan [sic] and Crazy.

Because the Mafia wouldn't know who was the jester. If only one person is acting like the jester, then it becomes patently obviously.

You realize if the jester remains alive, we force the Mafia into killing the scummiest players for us. Sounds like a good situation to me.

You say you get the plan and still ask who the jester is?
If I'm understanding this plan, we want to leave jester discussion for the scum.

I believe Rishi to be town. (See why I wanted to wait until the deadline now?) Apothecary, I'm not liking right now. This lack of information to back anything and "forgetfulness" is either coming from scum or newb town.

I don't like the post where Apo says we shouldn't be voting right now. The town should ALWAYS be voting. No lynches suck and need to be avoided. If we don't vote, we can't lynch, scum basically gets a free kill.

That post you quoted was referring to Skruffs. If Xtoxm agreed with Skruffs, then why did he think he was acting jestery?

On another point, Skruffs said this one time:

This doesn't really go with his plan, at least as I understand it, because the plan depends on mafia trying to kill the Jester.

KMD, When I said We shouldn't be voting, I meant voting to lynch someone. I never said we shouldn't vote if it meant goading a reaction out of someone.
It also makes sense that we should act jestery to confuse the scum players, as Xtoxm suggested. However, it would confuse the town players as they wouldn't like to risk losing on the first day. And apparently, we don't want a 'No Lynch' on Day one.

We don't. The scum will quickly outnumber us if we No Lynch. And it gives us no information to go on.

I don't like how Xtoxm's last post was fishing for jester information even after we talked about how jester speculation is bad, at least for now.
