well the reason is jailkeeper and not a roleblocker is holdem.

its more the informed nature. meaning there is something scum needed to be informed of.

for instance in another game. Scum was informed that the day one IC was bulletproof.

Lucky, why does the jailkeeper have no purpose if only one in Wake/Lucky is town? Why doesnt JKer just exist so that mafia can role block any claimed power role?

Also off what Bob said sorta, if mafia had a role blocker instead of jailkeeper, then the rolecop would suspect them more. They could be a jailkeeper since JK is more of a towny sounding role than rolecop, therefore that's some kind of buff to the scumteam.

Holden being role cop explains why a jailkeeper over a roleblocker. It does not explain why the ability to block roles is needed, nor does it explain why that ability is 1x.

as i said roleblock role is just given to scum to help them stop town night actions.

things like 1 shot and informed are the important part.

ive seen and played as scum jailkeeper before. but both times they were two shots.
