I don't think I misread, as the card came in a separate message from my role card. I don't know why I'd get an impossible color, I didn't realize it was supposed to be impossible.

I think if Titus or Ircher were scum here, they would have kept quiet and jumped onto the "lynch boring" wagon. Chateau, TSE, and Quick feel tied for scummiest today. Chances are, they're all not-town.

Quick handled his lynch with a neutral tone, so I think he knew he wasn't going to die. I don't know enough about setups to tie these thoughts to an alignment based on lynchability, I just think he's scum based on actual game play.

I know there are absentee players, but I don't like the "lynch lurkers" policy. I'd rather they either play or get replaced.

I just did a quick and dirty meta dive of Manatee. A few things of note:
I saw a post where he said something to the effect of "I don't try to look town as either alignment" (I tried to drag the quote over but it wouldn't let me.. it was in 2018 sometime)
I can't tell the difference between his scum game and town game
He's a beast when he wants to be, and it would be cool if he activated beast mode in this game.

I don't mind the fact that he SRs me but what irks me a little is that he is SRing me for basically playing the same style as he is. The only difference is that I may be loose with my vote but he is stubborn. He say I want to not "commit" but he is over "commiting"


Both of those styles can be seen as opposing strategies with the same effect. Look like

Hate to tell you it won't be likely I play to the best of my ability :/ im still trying to get my footing on the game of mafia again and the game you quoted from 2018 was one of the last ones I played before dropping mafia on my homesite and here so its been over a year since I played. I figured a game like this would be good to relearn things like scumreading, townreading without crazy high stakes and I think you'll see more of my "beast" style once the numbers dwindle and I feel less overwhelmed then I do now

I understand what you're saying here but throwing around votes, I think, is fundementally different from staying stiffly with a read. Your vote moving around reads to me as oppurtunistic and scummy, though I will admit finding another push more palpable to the rest of the town is smth I should do
