I'm sorry, I meant why, just based on their actions in this thread, they are scummy. I know most of the meta reasons as I have pushed most of them.

I can see the reasons for the Corin wagon, and they're good, but I don't believe they're anywhere near as good as the K7 lynch. If we don't lynch someone ever for having a scummy meta, then inevitably, there's going to be times when they're going to be scum, using that meta to ride on through - and that is what I think K7 is doing, based on posts #8 and #14 in my PBPA, mainly, and the overtly scummy nature - it looks like he knew he could ride that scummy meta, because certain players here put a lot of store in meta, through to safety, and got too obviously scummy.
I'm keeping my vote where it is, and unless someone here can come up with anything better than "You're playing differently to normal! Normal being one game of hurry-up!", I don't intend to move it. K7's scummy behaviour may be his meta, but it's still scummy. And the point of the game is to lynch scummy players, yes?

Except if its how he plays every game its NOT scummy as its not behavior he exhibits more as scum then town.

I still don't see K7 or Corin being scummier than FL.

I actually don't even get a scum read on Corin at all, but he is pretty succinct.

My vote stays where it is, of the three, FL is the only one I see deserving a vote, though K7 has definitely been antisocial since the lynch.

Meta is stupid, and it's being shown more and more.

People keep saying "so and so normally plays like this when they are X" - yet every person who believes in meta says that if the person being meta'd KNOWS their normal meta, then the meta is invalid.

How can ANYONE here say, with absolute, 100% certainty, that any of the meta'd individuals here do not already know their own meta? Are you all mind-readers, knowing that these individuals are unaware of their own meta for sure?

I think not. Meta reads may help to form an opinion, but anyone relying on them as solid, irrefutable evidence is a fool.

Yes, and I wasn't really convinced then and I'm not now. I am not Corin, so I'm not going to become some amazing lawyer for him but I haven't seen him as scummy this game. Not as much content as I'd like, but I'm not seeing the scum.

Of course, in all three examples, I wasn't providing the WHOLE case - just the examples of "meta" that are driving some of these major factors.

Ok, I would like to see the game move forward. What is that going to take? I think the Corin lynch is not optimal as it sits. In a perfect world I'd lynch Faerie btu we saw that isn't happening. So, I'd prefer my K7 target.

But, on some level, I dont care as much - we've been locked in stasis for a while now and I'd like to see it move.

I agree, k7's play in general annoys me more than anyone else on this site, except for maybe the gimbo's of the world, and I'm not sure a "lynch-k7-day-1-until-he-shapes-up" meta wouldn't be a bad idea. But that is how he plays, scum or town.

Of course, if he is scum this game, I know where I'll be looking next.

I will state this one more time because some people dont seem to be getting it.

Meta is not my primary reason for voting Corin. If I had never seen him in a game before, I still would be voting for him.

While it is used as

an addition

to my case, it is not the primary reason I think he should be lynched. If anyone thinks I want him lynched on meta alone, they are way off.

I've definitely cooled to a Corin wagon after a reread. Besides the decreased content level relative to his last game I see nothing really damning.

I can't see how you can say that I didn't do that given my last post.

I don't really see anything that jumped out at me as scummy or opportunistic. Most of his actions were decently explained.

This is getting ridiculous. I am sorry way back when I focused on metas. Its stopping us from doing serious discussion and hunting. It would not surprise me if the mafia restarted it to divde the town. Let's stop it and focus on the matter we have.

We a couple wagons that are all neck and neck. Do we see any connections between the suspects? Or the voters?

Arm, the mafia would use the thinking. A mafia goon who just lost his partner would like there to be disscussion away from the mafia in total or at least himself as an individual.
