I recieved a message last night telling me that one of Elsa and Jjh is a good card, and the other is not. I have reason to suspect that this is not coming from the scum faction, but instead from the result of another players action.

Based on how my role works, I know that at least one of jjh927 is town and Elsa Jay is town is 100% false. It was not a parity cop check, it was two seperate checks.

Each night I recieve 2 players with one statement of alignment on them (to paraphrase: X is neutral, y is scum, or z is town.)
One is guarenteed to be true, while the other is false.
They always appear in the same order (either true/false or false/true) depending on what the day parity it is (odd or even).
I cannot choose who I investigate, it is rand.
