Jake's play today is very odd to me. Maybe it wouldn't be so different even if he was telling the truth, but it rubs me the wrong way that he basically ignored me yesterday when I pushed him, presumably because he knew there wasn't time for anything to happen to him, but today he seems like he's fighting for his life. And this is such a strong fakeclaim for scum... If we believe him, then we have to follow his lead through a possible two lynches, so as scum he is guaranteeing

I completely disagree. If determining whether you were telling the truth or lying was an easier task, then maybe, but it's basically impossible and all gut. So we can either follow strictly gut or some combination of gut and gameplay logic. I think sacrificing your PR if you're town is worth not having to lock into potentially the next 3 lynches. You're going to die eventually anyways. I'd rather guarantee scum in a maximum of 2 lynches vs. roll the dice on it being up to 3 before we get one.
