I feel like it's obviously 100 but seeing as I've been on the exact opposite end every time so far I actually wouldn't mind 0 :P

what if, instead of banning google, you added a list of categories (secret mod information) you chose one randomly from to give to the clue giver in addition to the spectrum? like 'rough---------------smooth' and the category was 'popular 90s films' (this is just an example)

then the clue giver would submit titanic, you would approve this submission as it is a popular 90s film (maybe the categories should be broader than this) and then you'd present it to the teams as 'rough-----------smooth' 'titanic'. and then there'd be some fun in us trying to figure out the category in order to try to apply it to the scale without limiting clue submission too much.

i don't know why i thought of this, but i did. i also slightly dislike the math meta, and i do feel partially/quite a bit responsible for it. i think my favorite clue to work on was the brooklyn 99 one because it felt like applying a lens to something in a way i had never done before. i also liked solving katana.

isn't there a rule in actual wavelength where you have to spin again if the answer is too close to one end

The wavelength rules state that spinning again is only required if the entirety of the 4 space is off the board. For clarification (since I didn’t include this in the rules post), I am generating numbers such that the entire 4 space is always visible, which is slightly more conservative.

This could be the clue that derails our comeback. I read about the wetness of water. Water isn't wet, but does that make it dry?
There are so many more obvious clues for a dry 0 - 10 range, eg - sand, desert.

Nothing more dry than water though. There's a reason when you have a dry mouth, the first thing you think of is water.

I like shiki's idea btw. Sounds like it could be fun and would certainly get rid of the maths meta if it limits the range of clues you can give. It'd increase the difficulty but considering all these 4-pointers we've been getting, I think we need one.

What if the clue is meant to be water shouldn't be wet or dry(Since water makes other things wet)

Thus this means water should be a
50

There are more obvious clues for 90-100 too. I feel like this is either 0-10 or 50. But I don't know TK well enough to be able to guess what logic he went with.

a soaked anything would be my clue for 90-100.
And seeing how many articles on the internet say that water isn't wet, I really do not think it is 100.

the whole "water isnt wet" thing is a dumb semantic argument over the definition of words.
people go: ah, with how we scientifically define the word wet, water isnt wet! technically it has wetness, but isnt actually wet!
and because the scale says dry/wet instead of dryness/wetness, you want to go zero
thats stupid
if you want to be super technical about it water is neither wet nor dry because those descriptors apply to solids, not liquids, and have no meaning in this context
zero would be the atacama desert
wetness, a property of water, is very closely related to wet, and not at all related to dry

Okay then, let's go with 94/95.
