Reporting this post for violent speech, since it advocates beating the shit out of a straw man.

This attitude is actually racist. I know many black people who play mafia and are, in fact, smart enough to disassociate the word "lynch" from fear of actually being lynched. I think they can speak for themselves, for and against this change, without being imagined as fragile people who need words put into their mouths.
I'll be sure to tell those people who are currently at risk of being lynched in real life that they need to lighten up when people use it in a joking manner

All cops are paranoid gun owners when you think about it.

So your saying all cops are evil now or something?
You saying cops in general have a good nature is a stupid thing to say.
Did you know that cops who are good and report issues get suspended and fired or forced out by the other cops who think it is more important to stay true to the badge than to do the right thing to the public?
Basically, Ythan is pretty right here, is what I'm saying.
That's why cops don't like Internal Affairs, because they don't like regulations over them.
I've only made one good post, and don't you dare accuse me of doing it again.

They aren't evil, they are (in the us especially) just allowed to use lethal force, broadly protected legally when using massively disproportionate force, and trained that everyone else is out to kill them.

FTR this is what is meant by the phrase All Cops Are Bastards. It's not a moral judgement on their soul.

You don't speak for everyone but we've already been over that.

When my grandma died a couple years ago in our house while I was taking care of her, a cop was the only one who cared enough to comfort me after she died. There are many like me who never had a shoulder to cry on but when I needed it most, it was a police officer there. There are people who just want to feel safe, and know there's people watching out for them.
Don't be a piece of shit and assume they're all bad.
