I'm sorry but I think that's a little unfair.

I judged the type of cheese wouldn't really help (I personally don't think any "type" gives more precision to the answer). NSG pretty much arrived at the correct answer following the same thought process as I did, so I don't think the clue is as horrible as you make it out to be? Feels like a solid clue tbh, heheh

I'm not super concerned about win/loss and I'm just having fun each clue for either side.

It wasn't a terrible clue but the spectrum was pretty easy (solid-liquid) imo and you had enough things out there to make us guess nearer to 20-25.

Given an average lifespan of a person is about 80,

average life expectancy from most recent data seems to be 72.7 years but 72 is probably a better guess than 73 if this is what we're going off of because slightly less recent data that points to 71-72 is easier to find. since this a round is serious business (or so i've gathered from various comments) i'd also like to add that the introduction to the film august: osage county says 'life is very long ~ ts eliot' so i assume ts eliot also said 'life is very long'.
