There might be a slight delay on this round. There was an issue with one of the submissions, so I've reached out to that individual. Mostly done judging at this point, just getting things formatted and reaching out to that individual.

Hello everyone! Amazing Auditions! Was super impressed all around and I think we are going to have a lot of fun this season.

So, to explain a few things about how this contest will work, I have already pre-determined the theme for the first round and anyone who auditioned this season is automatically able to participate in Round 1.

For this round only, two people will be eliminated during Round 1.

After this we will do single eliminations each week.

From this point on, the winner of each round will pick between a set number of categories for the theme that I will announce publicly after this round ends. If multiple people tie for highest score, I will RNG who decides the theme for the next round. This will continue until final 3, where I have a pre-determined theme for the semi-finals and again for the final 2.

The Theme for Round 1: ROCK

Please be sure to ask if you have questions about what is/isn't an acceptable entry or song for this. Rock is a pretty large genre and has many subgenres, so just send me a message if you have questions.

The acceptable form of a submission: Send me a PM with the link, the name of the song and the name of the original artist.

Deadline: Sunday at 4pm PDT.

I knew the song was a bit too high for my range, but I couldn't resist the song choice for the audition

Also I considered both of those Radiohead songs, No Surprises is one of my favorite songs

Yeah I think my high range suffered from me restricting my voice because I was trying to be quiet. Hopefully with more time available there should be some time no-one's home so I can worry less about that. Hoping to impress with next round. Given that the range of music that falls into "rock" basically covers most of my music taste anyway I should be pretty free to do whatever this next round lmao

I'm sorry to say that I have decided to stop participating in this contest. Having listened to a few of the other entries I feel a massive more tension and nervosity to sing again (cuz y'all are so good)
And yes this is to blame on low self-esteem.

I am very sorry to hear you are feeling this way. You sound lovely and I would love to keep having you!!! That being said just send me a message if you do want to bow out, I won’t force you to stay if you aren’t having fun. Maybe take a day or two off to think about it? You do have until Monday

Viz, I liked yours and thought you sang well. I also understand being nervous and/or anxious about something like this, so I think you need to decide for yourself.

@Malk, I did not realize just how much reverb it was putting on my voice until you pointed it out. I'll take a look and see if I can figure out how to turn that off.
