the result for every track I've done this game has been no one. I tried to be decent at paraphrasing it earlier but the result was not "they targeted nobody/no-one", just the phrase no one, and Vi's refused to clarify that any further or confirm that my role PM is truthful. My role PM, slightly paraphrased, says that I can pick a player and see who they targeted.

I only see four possibilities:

1. Gamma is a non-sane Tracker (naive?)
   
2. Gamma's investigation was redirected, by an as-yet unclaimed role or mechanic, to a Vanilla Townie.

That's roughly my take on it. It's also possible something affected me and prevented my results from being seen? Something related to calamity trigger? My data base of distraction roles is pretty lacking, so idk much other than what my actual result was.

FWIW, I am skeptical Gamma is scum here. The short term gain of my misyeet seems more risk than it's worth if he was the last scum. There would have been easier misyeets for him to go after than elaborate story that would end in backfire within a day or two.

i agree with this.

this would be some unnecessarily high-level 5D chess from gamma if he is indeed scum. there's no need for such gambits when he is universally being read as town.

This is where I'm stuck. Out of all the trackers who are left, I feel like Gamma would be the much better target here than VPB.

Also, I was starting to hash out my Blair/KMD connections before everyone got all vote happy and couldn't holster for a little. Things have been weirdly busy this week, so the thread was locked when I got back.

so when i said my revelation had something to do with "smoke" what i meant was "smoke and mirrors"

Can you walk me through your thought process on:

Claim I have a revelation that helps scum > Say I won't share it until late-game > Now scum will kill me

Because I'm not saying "There is only one optimal way to handle that scenario and you didn't do it so you're scum," but... it's definitely not how I would have gone about attracting a nightkill.

(Revelations don't appear to be revealed upon flip, so killing Reck means his "information that helps scum" follows him to the grave - scum would not do this)
