Okay, but why are you just throwing away the interpretation that it's openwolfing
Cause i agree with him and would say the same thing in his shoes

Additionally he didnt have to include the part where he said "I might know Tipsys main and by virtue of meta we may just want to get rid of her even if she is town". That was entirely optional to say as scum and I think scum wouldn't

I think at worst this evaluation is correct, meaning Trips basis for shooting Mena was unfounded regardless

Null-ish.
you had a read on me very early last game

what is this
Taking my time with you this time.
It's like brewing a cup of tea, mellowing the flavour of how i read you. Really letting it steep before i take a mouthful.
I was too hasty last game and nobody believed me as a result.

(Well, not thinking about the "if they are who I think they are" bit I guess, which means there's a bit more to his point than saying "shooting bad players who end up being town is a good play in general" --that's the sentiment I would expect a player who holds it to express as either alignment)

I don’t really follow?
"i like the Tipsy comment in 502 because saying its +town to get rid of a townie is somewhat openwolfy and id expect scum to not go as far to include the extra bit about possibly knowing Tipsys main. Seems unnecessary"
I still don’t get it

I’m dismissing the interpretation that it’s openwolfy because (1) MT isn’t saying it actually is openwolfing and (2) I know it isn’t?

I see in this similar undertones of panic causing a rushed judgment that doesn't make a whole lot of sense leading you to a position you then try to cement

..why would that make me scum? It made me decide to get my reads out on an accelerated schedule because I wasn’t expecting to be shot, sure

But that’s distinctly different from the mastina situation where I was trying to salvage a guilty with a ballsy claim based on speculation. Here I might already be dead and have to stop posting at any second

So I mean you’re right that there’s probably a sense of panic in my posting in both cases, but they’re very qualitatively different situations so I don’t understand why you would reach the conclusion I’m likely scum here based on my being scum there
