Regarding the parallel strat of eliminating based on being strong or not, I don't think it's a good idea either.

I believe that scumread elimination is simpler and probably better.

I don't think I've ever played relaxed before, so the difference in behavioral comparison should suggest the impression you have.

yeah, I mean it could do, but also I think you played more relaxed last time you were scum and then got beaten for being off your meta? and I think you're a pretty smart guy, so I can totally see you pre-empting a behavioural /pattern/ you know you have by saying "ahh I'm gonna be relaxed so if I'm not town telling so strongly it's because of that not because I'm scum guys!"

Yes, in that situation I had to act as surprised and lost with low effort, because from my pov the whole case he made (very good, by the way) needed to be absurd.

And I believe that the main difference from that to here is that I was trying to discredit his case there by being simple and direct, trying to convey more genuineness in what I was talking about (and give the impression of being surprised).

While here I don't really have anything to impact/gain by doing this, if it makes sense to you.

yeah but it's more like... I felt you were notably lower WIM from the beginning and if that was your first scumgame (I think it was?) I can see you being unaware that playing scum would have that impact on your posting and make you catchable. and the fact I think you'd be aware of what be a very hard tendency for you to control in your posting (it's really hard to force WIM) makes it likely that scum!you would give a reason to explain that pre-emptively

but okay, talk to me about why you want this to be a more relaxed game for you?

like why did your last two games cognitively fatigue you in a way I don't remember seeing from town!you before?

lemme see i played a game as scum against clidd town and a town game against clidd scum

I dont have any bad feels from his posts but i didnt in partition, either

He has unique takes on a lot of things (like saying scum!Ydrasse wouldn't vote him or Farren being inquisitive suggests town), and it's tricky for me to tell if he's coming from a good place or not

FWIW i kind of doubt "relaxedness" or laying back is a clidd scumtell, i dont recall him playing like that in Zoey's extraordinary mafia.

he had decently big posts and he got quite excited actually. I think in particular his big response while under elim pressure might've saved him (although maybe that's a different topic)

Menalque, I really don't think I can explain in a rational way to you why I want to play more ''relaxed''.

It is very stressful to play within my game pattern, so I want to use this game as a window to try to play in a different way, without such a big commitment (like researches, wallposts, etc.) and be able to have fun in the process. After the comeback of our last game (you know which game), I want some space to breathe, if that makes sense to you.

I really remember thinking he just didn't have the same WIM in partition that he normally does when I read his ISO there. like not that he just magically became completely incapable of producing some of his big posts and analyses and stuff, but just like the sense that he... *really, really wanted* to figure out the mafia and people's alignments was.. absent?

I also don't think I've ever seen town him emote like that post you linked in Zoey's morning, but if that's a scum tell for him I'll bet he's fixed it by now

okay, but I guess it's that you've played this way for a while and I don't remember you really feeling like you needed to take a break of change your play style before? am I misremembering?

so that kind of makes me concerned that this could be cover for you to not get caught for not doing the things that you would normally do as town. which is why I wanna talk about why exactly our last game together was more stressful for you than other stressful games I know you've had in the past, after which you didn't want to/feel the need to change your playstyle? (again, unless you did say you wanted to do that/try to do that in the past too)
