By backing down do you mean "grasping onto something" because I don't consider that backing down.
It's more being self aware in the flaws of your own posts. Which is a tad different.

As scum it's less backing down and more posturing since I don't think admitting to a fault is an action that typically gets scum read. People on this site typically react with "why the fuck would they say that" relatively easily so I don't think it's an odd way to back down as scum.

The tiny hydra sheeping me feels off because they are a hydra and I rarely see hydra consolidate with other players this early over each other. Even late game hydra tend to do that which is why they aren't very fun to play with.

Rn for me, D & D and Gamma are the slots I’m the most concerned with but Cakez especially feels at bit off compared with Doubles’. I’m glad I’m not the only one seeing that. I’m not crazy about Gamma’s stances particularly his vote on you but I like him better tonally.

No other slots are currently pinging me.

Why do I think its weak? Probably because it's the first wagon of the game so its not really built on anything that will give us info if we flip gamma right now.

And they keep needling Shiro over nonsense like his “hi” post and now RVS thing. Town doesn’t focus too much on those kinds of things. Otoh, while Tris vote on us is wrong, it’s based on logical game advancing reasoning.

What I did is ask YOU for what thing you thought was being derailed, which tris did not do. You don’t have an answer to that so you come after me and try to make it seem like I’m copying other people when I’m literally not.

I see about 5 posts in his ISO I’d consider content. Please quote me where you think he has “plenty of” content that is not either 1) saying we should flip the 2nd neighbor if the 1st one flips town, or 2) not knowing how to read FL.

Leaning town based on play alone. If we want go only on mechanics I don't like having a neighbor alive if the other one flipped town.

I don't have a fail proof FL read in fact I don't know if I have ever truly SR FL in any of our previous games (even if he turned out to be scum).

Meaning something like, I find its isn't difficult for almost anyone to SR FL due to his style and maybe its that I just default into TRing FL early game because its easier for me. Also, from my exp with him I feel his "style" is pretty much constant regardless of alignment. FL may be scum here but at this early stage and without any hard evidence its worthless to pursue fmpov.

i forget who asked, but i liked Gamma's Ampharos push because it seemed pretty sudden, like he saw something that seemed weird and wanted to go after it immediately, and upon seeing that the original premise was wrong also gave it up quickly. Ampharos was also not getting any heat before then, so jumping out and getting attention for that isn't the ideal scum opener.

confuse wasn't a good word, now that i think about it, because it's about as expected as an early game wagon could be. player shows up, does a thing that's showy/incorrect, gets votes. tris voting there hurt my read of her a bit but given tris's playstyle i don't know if it's AI in hindsight. i still like her reason for joining me on Pepper.
