Town 1-shot Universal Cop


Once in the game during Night, you may investigate a player to see their true role card, including mod notes and stuff the moderator has hidden from the player. Furthermore, you will learn the exact post(s) the player's role and alignment come(s) from.

Otherwise it can be handpicked, which I don’t want happening with that role specifically.
It's meant to be the counterpart to Rigged Dice Buster (fair dice meaning dice with equal probability to land on each face), only allowing semi-random picks would make it not a counterpart but a strange variant and I'd have to rename the role to something like Weighted Dice Role. I'd rather change the role to some other strong role card like a Town 1-shot Universal Cop.

Town 1-shot Strong-Willed Trio Fight Stopper


Once in the game during the day, you may publicly post "
Stop Fight: X and Y and Z
" (bold is required, and you should replace X and Y and Z with the relevant players) to give X and Y and Z a 72 hour post restriction that disallows them from talking about or to each other for any reason. The first time X or Y or Z violates this post restriction, they receive a warning. The second time, they lose their vote for the rest of the day. If they violate it a third time, the offending player shall unavoidably die.

This action can't be blocked, redirected or interfered with in any way.

***This ability should be used to stop in-thread bickering
only
and should
not
be used for win condition advancing purposes.***
With great power comes great responsibility, and the moderator reserves the right to veto the request if it is not used appropriately. (Such a veto does not consume a shot, but can cause the action to fail regardless of Strong-Willed.)

Why not? FYI this role will still turn up as Werewolf to cops that return an exact alignment as well, not just Seers.

As a Treestump, you may continue to post when dead. You may not vote, and you do not count towards the Mafia wincon.

If all other members of the Mafia are dead, you lose and leave the game.

That would actually destroy the game, so no. Scumpartners technically aren't listed on the true role card if you think of role cards as physical cards. Neither would the Informed's exact info, but what the Informed is Informed of is on the physical role card so a Universal Cop sees it.

All killing actions in the game are randomized at their inception within the game to be Fire or Ice while you are alive. Ninjas and Pirates must be opposite.

I think Trees should have some sort of extra clause around Ice kills tbh. Maybe it works as a cold snap that kills the tree?

Once per game, you may kill someone at night. This counts as a fire-based kill, and should be flavored as such.

Re: 8508 - arguably other methods as well. Trying to keep things simple.

Neutral Serial Killer

You are self-aligned; you win if you are the last person alive, or if everyone is dead and you just died during the most recent phase.
During the night, you can kill any player with a standard killing action.
You count as a threat to other factions.

You possess a
Book of Moral Behavior.

During the night, you may read this book. If you do, your role will change to
Survivor
; your win condition will change to "Be alive when the game ends." You will no longer possess the ability to kill. You will no longer count as a threat to other factions.

This book may be passed, if the rules of the game explicitly allow it.
It may be destroyed, if the rules of the game explicitly allow it. Whether or not this takes an action is at moderator's discretion. Anyone with the
Reader
role may not destroy a book.

Alternatively, twice per game at night you may roleblock everyone targeting yourself. They will be notified.

Once per game during the day you may privately poison one player. They will die the following night, unless healed. If they were town, you will commit suicide the following night, unless you were converted the night they died, or they were healed.

You are roleblock and redirect immune, but will be notified if either happens to you.
If you are converted, you will convert into
The Servant
, and aligned with the faction that converted you.

Nice Guy

Starts as town aligned. May make a business proposal with any player at any time, and can have up to three active proposals; if the player wants to make more, they must withdraw a proposal that was already made. The player can also withdraw a proposal at any time without making another. If a player given a proposal accepts it, it becomes a partnership for the day, and no more proposals can be accepted, clearing all active proposals.
Business proposals/partnerships work like this: both players must be voting the same person, and that person must be the person eliminated at the end of the day, or whenever the current vote goes through if there is to be another elimination vote after the current one. The partnership expires once the night phase starts. If this condition is met, both the Nice Guy and business partner get a one shot ability, determined by the amount of times a successful partnership has occurred (1st success = tracker shot, 2nd success = jailkeeper shot, 3rd+ success = vigilante shot).
If any role tries to recruit this role, it transforms into the
Not-So-Nice Guy
, immediately killing the role that tried to recruit it, and becoming a groupscum faction with all players it had successful partnerships with that are still alive, with revived players who had successful partnerships with this role instantly converting to its group upon revival. Within this groupscum faction, there is a factional killing action that only the Not-So-Nice Guy can use. If the Not-So-Nice guy dies, the faction still persists with no killing action unless all players within it privately opt to disband the faction. This results in all players returning to their previous alignment.
