My read on Not Mafia, is far more developed than Ampharos’. They have completely positioned themselves in a way where no matter what, I will come off as the person who will take the heat.

They’re also kissing up to everyone by telling them what they want to hear.

This list includes, KD, DrPepper, and Nancy, could be more, but this is off the top of my head.

I no longer think there is a scum in DrP and NM.

I tr Pepper ever since his reaction to his claim, which is why I’m so annoyed that Hya and Gamma didn’t listen to me and Hya gladiated him anyway.

I still don’t get the correct kill vengeclaim slot if you think they’re town.

i must disagree that scum FL has found himself freaking out over being responsible for miseliminating a town NM. i don't think that's likely at all.

Ampharos doesn’t know me prior to here, so it’s a little understandable.

I really don’t like that Nancy just ignored anything to do with me regarding that post, and quoted but talked about NM.

I didn’t at first grasp the obvious contradiction between her claiming scum!you hardbusses NM here and still adamantly wanting him dead because that doesn’t make any sense at all. If she truly believes that scum!you hardbusses scum!NM, when you’re clearly not pushing him at all, then she shouldn’t be so eager to kill NM here.

DnD just sounds pretty nonchalant about this, where as I’d expect them to have a stronger reaction if NM is a buddy.

i feel the opposite. this sort of partner-hedging is common when scum is trying to avoid giving tells, especially on a partner that's difficult to read like NM.

It was more the tone. like they really didn’t seem to care. Like I said, it’s weak but I read it more like “oh yeah NM, yeah interesting“, kind of thing.

I still think Amy is making town sequences and the sarcastic "I could be scum" quip makes her more likely to be town. I was worried I was being manipulated on a social level to town read her because I just like her and she was hard town reading me.

But if she was trying to play the game from that angle I am not sure why she would make a post like that which people are just not going to like. Sure some people don't care about those kinds of posts but you do have to play around the majority of the player list as scum.

In regards to info flips I think NM has so much contention at this point it basically doubles as an info flip?
I know his own posts aren't that incriminating to anyone one way or the other.

But he is still an off wagon player who is being defended by a wide portion of the player list. And it's weird how that wide portion that is defending him is saying that he isn't an info flip.

I also think NM is playing in a way where we probably won't get further info beyond this.

Tbh, I would have prefer an NM gladiate to an obvtown Pepper one or even executing him the old fashioned way but since we’re very likely killing a town slot in Pepper, it significantly increases the stakes, if NM is also town.

It's like getting a suicide bomb role pm, claiming that role while you're in the POE getting town read for it then not using it.

no, i agree with what you did. if the claim got Pepper off the hook it'd mean the possibility of it being a successful scum ploy. it does suck and i get why you feel bad, though.

But Pepper was very likely town at that point. His reaction to the whole thing was highly town indicative.

i really feel like amy is town actually. after reading her iso. day one is still whatever, but my gut is telling me that today's posting comes from town. i'm actually townreading her more than i have any point before.

ahhh, but there's still that paranoia that she's pocketing me ahhhh.

1222, 1239, 1298, and 1299 especially are the sources of the townread. it just seems so genuine.

And that’s why I made the heal but FL’s post got me thinking about why town!Amy would be pushing a venge on NM this hard if she truly believes scum!FL busses him. I agree she does sound genuine but that can be faked. However, if she honestly believes scum!FL busses scum!NM here, then she should be interested in trying to re-evaluate that some more, because it reads like she srs FL regardless of NM flip but she’s still adamant about flipping NM.

Here's where I stand

After reading NM's incredibly long ISO, I can say that the only info you'd get out of him flipping is peace of mind in that your paranoia of his slot will go away.

Town only wants NM because the slot can be such a pain in the ass at Exlo and you don't want that risk.

Starting to see where scum can benefit keeping him alive for that reason but quite honestly I think that a town NM could be useful (in the game I linked, he called the scum team but failed to get us eliminated). When NM gives a shit, he's actually quite good. He called out our scumbuddy day 1 and influenced his vig. He called out my other buddy in day 3 but we got saved by a fake claim. He pivoted my own elimination in day 4.

I'm not opposed to shooting NM. I just think that this is quite a waste of a shot.
