- I don't really agree at rand but I'm not sure it's actually a useful alignment tell since we have like. you know, unambiguous things the slot has actually done? I think such a specific claim & setup are gonna come from someone who actually wants to look like that power role whether it's a fakeclaim or not

- I get newbscum trying to dumbtell and stuff but if JOYED is scum I really don't think I'd expect newbscum to think so subversively and it's probably just luck that I'm dumb enough to read into it this much

If he's vt wanting to fake claim a pr to draw maf attention and die/get protected, I think it makes all the more sense to breadcrumb day 1 in hopes maf might catch it. Do I agree with it though? nah it was still a dumb idea imo

I can see an attempt at town motivation in the fakeclaim. it makes sense to try and draw scum attention in this setup. nightkills on a vt are cool, roleblocks on a vt are cool. I'm pretty null about the neap claim outside of thinking it was SILLY.

I can see a tension-averse and to some extent conflict-averse newbie (hi it's JOYED) replacing into a vt slot and being like "the fuck did my pred claim this thing?"

I'm not sure conflict/risk averse newbscum replaces into this slot and sees their pred has crumbed a believable fakeclaim well and just goes "lol oops I'm a vt",....like it disallows their to engage in shitty mechgaming and makes them more likely to die and idk

It wasn't a believable fakeclaim, though. We have mod confirmed Town rolecop in the setup, granted, dead now.

And I will say, I did forget until just now that the claim was night 2 and 3, not ungated, but I disagree that the withdrawal of the claim is the scummy part. The confirmed fake claim makes it worse, by far, but, if the point was to draw a NK, why didn't Elements just call more attention to it day 1? There's no need to fake the night 2 and 3 part unless you explicitly wanted something that happens on Night 2.

My guess is that it's a gated mafia role, like a Night 2 mafia strongman or night 2 mafia ninja, something like that.

We know that there is an RB from the issues before, and we also now know that there's a rolestopper and possibly a tracker, though the results could have been faked with the way the day played out. I just think this is a play to get that slot into the night 2, specifically.

I feel like the mod error was explicitly because of an RB/Rolestopper interaction, though, I guess something else might have been in play. That one is a little bit of a leap, though, I cannot think of any other roles which would cause said confusion, specifically, giving Nep a no result and then a result (Though, I am leaving open the possibility of a result different from the one claimed) when corrected.
