I was very tempted to claim cop for Datisi because I saw the soft early. But, we're in auto win woohoo! I'm not really good at the whole mechinal part but if scum can't multi task why are we roleblocking our n3 vig?

Because tw wants to and it's still autowin so I don't really care to argue the specifics. His reasoning is that it would confirm both him and me at the same time, and it's not like his shot going through gains us a mis-exe because we're already on odds.

if i shot tonight we lose a potential elim and we're back in evens. not a huge deal but it's one more point against, so i'd prefer to play mechanically optimally.
1. so i could holster, be blocked by SS, and be confirmed.
2. i could shoot, not be blocked by SS, and remove someone from the pool while confirming myself.
3. i could shoot, be blocked by SS, and confirm both myself and SS while staying in evens.

honestly whatever works because we're in auto, but #3 is the most badass play

just to check the numbers, if the game doesn't end today:

if smart dies we have 9 alive with 5 clear if datisi gets an inno which is a lock (also a lock on a guilty obv)
if datisi dies we have 9 alive with 4 clear (me+clover+grumpy+worst), we eliminate someone and either smart clears someone the next night, leading to at least 4 clear with 7 alive, or there is no kill which leaves 8 alive with 4 clear. we eliminate someone again, if another no kill we have 4 clear with 7 alive, if there is a kill we still have 4 clear with 6 alive.

to add insult to injury, in the scenario where datisi dies, smart is also cleared.

just for fun: the most irritating scenario (akin to someone starting a game of tic tac toe in one of the side-middle squares) in which scum camps no kill to avoid users/ss & we only ever get innos and miselims.

if there's no kill we have 10 alive with two clears (peta + clover) plus a third clear from datisi's action.
i then leave the mechclear pool but can be cleared via datisi.
we elim in the PoE (myself or umlaut) & enter the night with 9 alive and three clears, with a new plan of (datisi=>x, ss=>grumpy) which has the outcome of mutually confirming ss & grumpy if there is a kill.

if there's no kill again we enter 9p with four clears at which point we just elim into the PoE again, rinse & repeat night actions, and enter 7p or 8p with 4 or 5 clears. which is still auto.

as long as we remember that ss is not scum for not generating clears, and ss' targets are not *necessarily* scum because of the lack of nk (see: petapan) we win.

if ss is scum,

he would have surrendered as soon as he claimed roleblocker

he'll eventually lose.

Yep. Long story short, Datisi is a god, and I'm a bumble who almost fake guiltied a townie, and with our powers combined we can clear half the town or something like that.
