I reread some SS things last night after feeling a bit paranoid about this game and I am like 150% sold on town!SS btw

I'm null on too many people and I was enjoying my IV townread so much and then una was all like "nooooo he's scum WITH YOU" and I think that is generally a Silly read but I don't really feel all that good about town!IV anymore

I feel some dissonance with una but I felt a similar way about norweej so I feel like it might just be a language thing? like just the usage and emphasis of certain words is throwing me off? (only slightly related, I was thinking about stuff while in transit yesterday and I could feel myself like bolding phrases in my head the way I think una would.)

but also it’s a similar dissonance to like my dissonance with someone who was scum from a previous game. idk. I can’t tell if it’s a personality/posting style thing or actually me getting vibes that mean I should be scumreading them

pedit: yeah it sounds like you're getting a stronger sense for Una's tonality / way of emphasising posts; I think his reading is like, fine, and consistent with his playstyle, I'm not really sure he's exceeded his scumrange but I'm actually starting to like, see odds and ends of what he's seeing

I do think his conclusions are kinda off but I think I have been too lazy w IV and I can kinda.... Possibly see how that looks partnery given I'm giving a very short leash to most players this game

I agree with that. I think my issue with Una's reads is that like if I pocketed you it was basically while I was attempting a sheer anti charisma angle towards you and it happened accidentally (which would make like, a level of sense, but una doesn't seem to be aware of that) + I have a really hard time believing that iv=>me interactions look like a partner but I can kinda see me=>iv

I agree, una’s reads feel like they’re taking a pretty simplistic view of the game especially with regards to you and me, but not sure if that’s scum indicative. I do feel like rolestopping nepenthes N1 was at face value a bit towards the towny side.

Like, I think we “have proof” that the rolestop happened because of the shenanigans around night results (I think una targeted nepenthes and osuka thought it was a roleblock and then realized it was a rolestop and changed the results, and because nepenthes originally received a “no result,” we know that fake-roleblocker!una did in fact target nepenthes; also I think if this is what happened, una and four probably can’t be scum together because I posited this scenario and four was like “oh I hadn’t thought of that at all”), so una’s claim is at least partly true. I think (caveat, I am awful at setup spec/game balance) that town!rolestopper makes more sense than scum!rolestopper, and I also think (again caveat, I’m awful at determining who is optimal to target as a PR) that nepenthes makes sense as an N1 town!rolestopper target because of her PR claim at the end of day.

The N1 kill was saudade’s slot, and I’m wondering if he tried to soft or unintentionally softed by saying “oh I’m definitely the N1 NK” or if that was just him being cocky, because I couldn’t see a reason for scum to NK saudade over nepenthes who had hard claimed some kind of PR, or if the NK was more likely an attempt to kill two birds with one stone (NK saudade, who is universally townread and might have softed; and that in turn implicates nepenthes and sets up her elimination, because saudade was pretty much only pushing for nepenthes D1)

and if it’s the latter, I think that also probably points to town!una for rolestopping nepenthes there and trying to get results out of her

I guess it’s still possible for scum!una to do that to prevent investigation results on nepenthes, but then I don’t think he’d have come charging out of the gate like that on D2.

Unless there's zero scum in FourEyes/lilith/BuDucky.
Billy is a very "chill" as scum if he's scum here, and could very well then be teamed with the Sirius-slot.
Meaning that my solve would have been totally off after D1 went off the rails.
Only other scenarios I'm currently not able to process because they are rather weird. Mainly because of how some of the slots interacted earlier.

Read their ISO starting from D2.
That was the most pointless and cold-blooded bus in the history of this game if S_S is scum here.
Two aspects that I can't connect with S_S at all.

I have a nasty feeling that anyone softing any suspicions towards S_S here just wants them to claim as well.
Which is the main reason why I'm fine with them not claiming today.
Maybe force the scumteams hand a little.
