-making FAAB our waiver and the budget (I propose $100)
I like waivers better than FAAB - I've never played with FAAB and it feels overly complicated.
-using ppr
half point PPR is my pref
-getting rid of kickers
hate kickers
-draft pick trades
this sounds cool
-getting rid of the 3rd WR and making it a flex spot
so yes

Sure.
In post 299, Nero Cain wrote:-using ppr
Absolutely. If there's only one change I'd want it to be this. (I agree with the half-point suggestion.)
In post 299, Nero Cain wrote:-getting rid of kickers
Nay, kickers are a fun bit of semi-randomness. Another league I'm in changed kicker FG scoring to 0.1 point per yard for successful FG and it's been pretty novel; I wouldn't mind seeing that in other leagues. (That league also dishes out -1 point per missed XPT.)
In post 299, Nero Cain wrote:-draft pick trades
Don't really care. Don't actively want it but would not object if it gets added.
In post 299, Nero Cain wrote:-getting rid of the 3rd WR and making it a flex spot
I'd rather add a flex slot without removing anything, but would be fine with this. Would personally prefer it be RB/WR/TE if possible just for funsies but wouldn't complain if that doesn't happen.
Well, this game happened.

There’s something good about having 9 players that’s the only reason I don’t like adding a flex. Having 100 points as a “Mendoza line” of sorts is a good benchmark that goes away (to an extent) when you add a player. I’d be content replacing WR with flex but wouldn’t be as happy just adding a flex (unless the “kickers die a horrible death” one also happens).

I agree with changing the 3rd WR slot into a flex slot

also i've found its quite fun to have a superflex (QRWT) slot as it increases the strategy around QBs

what does ppr add other than making more players viable? I sorta feel like if we do the flex we'd prob need that ppr b/c a 12 p league with a 6 person bench...RBs might be scarce? Or should we make the bench smaller as well?

I like kickers, I understand that they are swingy but so are most everything else. Another thing we could do is earse the distance modifiers and make all fgs just 3 pts.

Another idea that I like (which means no one else likes it) is to either keep the 3 wrs and add a WR/TE slot or just have the 2 WRs and a WR/TE slot to kinda mimic the 3/4 WR or 2 TE sets which are pretty common. Or maybe even 2 wr, a wr/te slot, and a dlex so on any given week you could start up to four wrs or 3 tes or 3 rbs

wr/te flex MIGHT be ok. Need to do some math as I don't think that will make te's scarce. But rb/wr/te I refuse!

If my comments bothered anyone, I apologize. So is anyone replacing flame?

I think its fine to trade draft position a week or so before the draft as long as that stays consistent every round. Changing for just one round or trading for next year, I refuse!

I also refuse a super flex that involves QB. If we have a super flex everyone will want to start a QB there since they get the most points. So everyone will start 2 qbs and want 1 qb on their bench for byes and in case shit happens. 12 teams times 3 qbs is 36. There are not 36 starting QBs in the nfl!

No wonder pooky likes that idea. Pooky took mahomes

Yeah it's not "I'll give you Aaron Rodgers for a 2nd next year", it's "I'll trade you my picks for your picks" between draft order reveal and the draft itself.
