I suppose bear or bell would have made sense too.
Why kill somebody who can generate another 100 pages of suffering when April is in the mix? It's already October, but at this rate we'll make it back to April before that noise resolves itself.

That youre all universal townreads that would have been equally as low info as killing S_S, lol

One other notion I've had is this could be a day to set up april because her townbloc is dissolving rapidly and its leaving the people annoyed by their antics

You DID speak a name into the ether... but are they actually that much higher on the tree of scum-fruit we all seem to be eating from?
can you elaborate a little bit on what you're getting at here?

In post 4087, Secret Tunnel wrote:Last reads because NS thinks we’re going to die, if this gets read great, if not oh well, we weren’t a big presence in this game really

bell, morph, bear reasonably strong townreads, don’t think this needs a ton of elaboration, NS agrees
Rem I TR, NS strongly townreads

leaves plus, muffin, 420, april, bulge

think the team out of these is like

Muffin/plus/bulge

NS is sus of April, I think dealing with them soonish is reasonable, I think I TR them in tone personally but not like confident anymore, especially with that weird SS kill

420 seems like a townish slot with the tones of the two low content people

Plus: NS is suspicious here, initially TRd for reasons that were proven to be false, I can kind of get behind this read especially with SS out of the PoE. Strange style of play and reads that I tend to write off as town for playstyle but could feel kind of robotic. I don’t think they’re necessarily partners with muffin for that case he made on muffin, but it’s possible

Bulge: NS was town here but has gotten increasing suspicious. Seems like bulge is playing consistently with how he would as if he was trying to emulate town!bulge. His open was pretty different but since then he’s been kind of underwhelming on the read on our slot is kind of a lazy townread that NS and I talked a decent amount about, weee both a bit sus here. Seems like the goal is more to pocket us than genuinely read us

Muffin is my tinfoil conspiracy, NOTHING he has done this game seems like, reasonably more likely to be town than scum, I lightly TRd stuff of his on occasion but the goal looks kind of survivalistic, poking around to see which wagons stick, etc. the morph push at the beginning was bad and had plenty of scum motivation, regardless of how genuine the push is. It’s really hard to put into words and I couldn’t think of like a convincing reasoning or case but my gut has pinged here all day, at least just give him a second look, I do wish I was better at this game And could explain better. I’m possiblu just wrong here and the PoE might be coloring my read here
i asked for an explanation on your read on me forever ago, thanks for finally delivering

the fact that maid got silenced and posted this last makes me think there is an extemely high chance of a scum being within maid, ST, or remi. If none of those were scum, I'd think scum would not of silenced maid since getting a town vig to blow themselves up and take out another townie would be a huge win. I'm not sure if the silence effect would prevent them from exploding with another target though.

there is a small chance that it was some PR's effect that silenced or that this is part of the kamikaze vig effect but I think that is very unlikely

after

i was thinking on the assumption that we have a scum silencer as I mentioned before but that post on its own could be taken out of context

giving silencer effect to a town seems dumb and pointless
and if the silence was a part of the kamikaze claim I'd think they'd have mentioned it. I was considering this based on these assumptions.

I am super grateful that mafia killed S_S because I was likely to have led a mis-elim wagon on them today based upon the meta dive ffery and I did day one.

With that said, as of yesterday, I was seeing them in the same "Low Hanging Fruit" basket that we had the other global-scum-reads in, if not barely above it.

I certainly didn't have them anywhere near a town read.

As for the "Claws in plastic wrap" meme, that's my internal reference for when one of us inconveniences the other OR uses the L word.

if only to avoid posing another open question.. how much consensus would you say this take had? would others have considered ss to be lhf-adjacent?

I felt that game state wise, if one were to do an assassin-style excel sheet, S_S would have been more red than green.
