Salem 1692 is one of a trio of games from the Dark Cities series by Facade Games, and a favourite of mine. The series focuses on real life cities where tragic things happened - this one is the Salem Witch trials. In it each player starts with a number of 'TRYAL' cards, the vast majority of which are Not a Witch, but if you've ever held a Witch card you are tainted. Players play and draw from a deck of cards that allow them to attack other players hands, protect them from harm and most importantly, build up enough accusations to flip the TRYALs and find the Witches. But be warned, in the deck there is the Conspiracy, where the taint of of the Witches spreads to new players, and the Night when the Witches start to kill.
