yeah I believe in hiding townreads occasionally, just not as a default.
I don't know how I feel about the idea of lying about townreads just to mess with the nightkill strategy, but I guess there's some never say never I just haven't delved into before. I fakeclaimed my role as town for the first time this year or last year.

I’m townreading Noraa, Taylor, +joyed, datisi hydra, and leaning that way on murdercat. For scum, I’m thinking xofelf and maybe battle mage.

I’ve played my fair share of games, but I want to change some things stylistically and am giving them a test drive.

Noraa keeps treating Battle Mage like she knows he's town and seems like she's trying hard to look protown.

He can easily play this way as town or scum (BM)

isis: town. Partial bias here cause menagerie, but I also think this is genuine town!isis I saw in menagerie. Her townreading exorcist also helps my confidence here.

Going off of Isis' play in this game, they haven't done anything that they couldn't do as scum. Isis a townread on Exorcist isn't a good reason to townread Isis.

In terms of ranking from town to scum, I'd say something like:

ego > exorcist > isis > jewels > tswift > murdercat > bm > cobra > dunnstral > rc > noraa > xofelf

Considering everyone to the left of me is your townreads, I'm neutral, and everyone to the right of me is your scumread, then from my point of view; you're either scum, townreading scum, or you're exactly right on your three scumreads. Given the basis for your reads, and general probability, it's probably one of the first two.

I'm not sure, I believe that the basis for some of the reads are weak and they are too hasty to call a large amount of players town

Do you want to explain why? Because usually knowing other people are town based only on reading your own role PM is a Bad Thing.

It's easy to look at BM's posts and think he's town due to his push, so I'm not suspicious of them for doing so.

Dunnstral seems scummy to me, but by now I think I've tallied enough read accuracy from him across games that I want him alive more than other players because a town!Dunnstral is going to solve the game for me.

I seem scummy to you because instead of lurking or being super invested I'm giving measured responses, yes? That doesn't make me scum.

I'd find Jewel Barons a little scummy for being sideliney if I ignored the PT thing, but I agree with Dunnstral about that being a strong push town and that matters more.

I don't want ego to flip cuz that's not going to give any information. Honestly, Plus or Taylor give a fair bit of information really. Taylor flip kinda gives a read on you, BM, but also there's a lot of interactions people have had with both slots so it's actually information that can do a fair bit of stuff. Noraa was another that would help, but I'm inclined to leave her be for now.

Also, I do have a bunch of my game stats on my wikipage, it's just ridiculously out of date.

Town has a random number of points, 5-9 I believe

Mafia have 3 less points than the town have, their announced powers constitute 5 points, so we know town has 8 points

Regardless of what mafia chose to do, town still has 8 points, they don't lose points or anything, that's already been decided.

4 points of power roles have been flipped with 2 witch hunters

plusjoyed is claiming 2 points worth
isis is claiming 2 points worth
I am claiming 1 point worth

That's 9 points, which is too many
