A card I would not have had to play, had you played a negotiate from your hand, Shadow. That's not a lack of trust on my part, the fair moderator would have asked me if I wanted to use it. It was an insurance policy against your traitorous intentions. Your "allies" would have had their ships destroyed were I baiting you, because I would have played a card well above your meager 6.

i had far greater numbers, miser. a card greater than my meager 6? how about a card greater than a 13? does that sound so meager now? i think not.

compare your cowardly conduct here to your confidence in previous rounds. i know that you could not have won out in that encounter. do not try to poison my allies' minds to me, i have chosen to ally with them specifically because they are beyond such weakness.

Shadow, all the encounter cards against my colonies have been drawn. Chances are when the Warpish, the Chosen, and the Parasite take their turns, they draw an encounter with you. Losing 3 ships to the warp on a failed negotiation is a minor inconvenience for me. I will get them back long before that becomes an issue. Can you say the same?

The strict time limit on negotations is an intentional part of the game. If I'm not around when one ends I will be checking timestamps.

The Shadow can send three of his ships to the warp. He'll regret it, but it is his choice to regret. You can take mine from Yellow 4, Yellow 5, and Blue 5, one ship each.

I hope the Parasite and Chosen appreciate me saving their ships from destruction and remember this favor on their turns.

Or perhaps you meant the favor of "Warpish gains a +6 bonus right as they become the offensive player, when we are the most likely targets," instead of the +1 they would have gained if you hadn't played the Emotion Control ... or the +0 they would have gained if either of you had been interested in actually dealing fairly.

Yes, I for one will be sure to remember these favors well.

Put one ship on that colony, but then put one of each of the other 3 on the planets I took stuff from for maximum aesthetics.
