Murdercat-town gains plenty from talking to me, is seeing what I say and how I engage, and being able to evaluate my reactions and potentially even re-evaluate his own case. You're right it would be unusual for me to say you have an amazing case on me (although I would, and indeed have, acknowledge points of merit). But I think you've slightly missed the point here - Murdercat-town should care more about getting a correct elim today, and be open to the possibility of being wrong. I'm certain that if you're town, you have reasonable doubt about my alignment. Instead, your description of your objective sounds a lot more like eliminating me at all costs. You say you care about my opinion on Taylor - do you have particular questions on it?

I don't know what to say, I could give you multiple examples, but I think addressing a case point-by-point is mostly NAI no matter how you do it, and I would even go so far as to say continuing an engagement like that with a scumread is bad play as town.

Xofelf, I kind of agree you on the Plus read. He seems a little more calculated than my past experiences with him, which gives me some suspicion of them but much like you say about yourself, Plus is an easy target at times because of his play.

It's forum mafia - what we say and how we say it is all important data right? I guess we disagree philosophically - I'd be interested to see how you form balanced and robust reads if you don't pay attention to people once you have scumread them.

Generally, I feel like players are easier to read when they are not responding to accusations, because then town can feel more free to scumhunt. Certainly depends on the player though. Normally, I try to ask other players, especially townreads, when I am not sure on a read, because getting a second opinion can help distinguish paranoia from useful skepticism. This is why I found it towny that murder asked Isis and noraa about his case on you, because it's probably what I would do in the same position.

Idk, your main two reads you've given this game are scumreads based primarily on how people voted you, and I haven't seen much attempt to sort other slots. Not that I couldn't see your play coming from town, but if you're town I think you're just too focused on the suspicion on you and would love to see thoughts directed elsewhere.

I think Infinity discredits peoples opinions a lot. Rereading the ISO, he mostly interacts with BM and I but constantly discredits us by saying things like "stop being OMGUSy" to me and "you are just going back and forth" to BM. These are things that BM and I do, yes. However having slightly emotionally driven reads =/= these reads are worthless. I think I see a lot of light fence sitting and another crucial thing I saw in Plus which was the basic refusal to solve my slot. Infinity just did it prettier than plus is all. I recently went and meta dived Plus some more and I've decided that I want to drop the SR on him for a bit. The reason is simple. Im tunneling too much and thats hurting my reads. Also he kinda plays really damn scummy as town too. I didn't find anything identical to what he's doing this game but I mean people's play styles change. I think its still possible he is scum but I want to drop the read for now and scum hunt elsewhere. If I sincerely can't find scum elsewhere, by Poe he'll likely be one of the scums.

No everyone here is definitely right. Plus seems much more well composed this game. And I'm sure its not just me that's noticed this. I think this is either bc he is scum and knows the whole setup so he is pretty relaxed or its just that his game is getting better. Plus is normally somewhat like me .... basically a huge tsunami of confusion and LHF vibes. But this game I see huge improvement and while I want to say its most likely bc he is scum, I also think its very possible that its just his game getting better.

I was preparing to fake claim/strong soft an important role until I remembered that for scum its completely open setup(someone posted that a few posts ago) so I decided against it. Cuz if I claimed a role that actually existed, a pr might out to cc and that would do the opposite of what I wanted my soft to do. If I claimed a pr that's not on the list, the scums are gonna think I'm a vt throwing so that also doesn't help anyone. I was originally just gonna soft a really strong pr but never reveal exactly as to draw the nk. I definitely think if I had softed something really powerful, I could've eaten the nk bc after all, they have 3 prs and I'm certain they don't want any to die day 2(I would've softed that I was that powerful). Prolly would've went with vig but anyways that's a bad idea in case there actually is a vig and if there isnt, scums wouldn't be scared of me anyways so that all doesn't work out if scum know what prs town has. Anyways that plan's not gonna work now that I claim vt and wasn't gonna work anyways since I forgot something major so there was a big flaw in the plan.

I stalled because if I had survived the day sorting vig without ever claiming, its actually pretty possible that I could've eaten the nk. Ofc if the prs don't have anything destructive, scums would've know I was throwing but if I had softed very vaguely, scums seriously might've just thought I was the strongest pr on their list and let me eat the kill. But I mean once I got to E-1 and knowing that there are many ways this plan could backfire and end up just hurting town, I decided I should just claim my real ass role.

Also Zofelf claimed vt. If town has a motion detector they should try to verify if Zofelf is truly vt. If there is a MD, that might stop zofelf from ever doing night actions out of fear of getting checked so that's a plus.
