I wonder who would show up?

Tinner

Play alongside other villagers.
Locks are ignored. Discard after use.

The village of Montleduc looks forward for its
Tinner
. Here's their ability in full:

Tinner ignores the unlocking mechanic for the villagers played together with itself. Note that the villagers themselves must already be able to be placed on your Village. You can mix and match: playing some with the Tinner (to avoid paying) and some without (to claim coins). There's nothing stopping you from playing Tinner on its own; you'll just get no use out of it. It's also discarded after use, so it doesn't count towards your build limit.

Meanwhile, on the Road…

That's the end of Draft Phase 1. I've got to say, I'm impressed with the turnaround time. I was expecting close to a week so having it done in a third of that time is amazing. Keep it up!

As seen above, for the next Draft Phase, all the face-up villagers are each given a coin for extra incentive. Draft them and the coin's yours!

It stays until the end of this Build Phase, then it moves to the player who was 2nd in order for the next Draft Phase.

I've sent everyone their updated hands via PM. Let's see how everyone's doing as we begin Build Phase 1.

Build Phase 1

Now that everyone has drafted 2 villagers, it's time to put them to good use.

Each player will now put any number of villagers up to 2 in their Village. Villagers with a chain have to be placed following the chain. Basic Villagers can be summoned to start most chains, but in exchange, one villager must leave your hand.
Now's a good time to remind everyone that a Food adds 1 to your Draft Limit, whereas a Builder adds 1 to your Build Limit. Choose carefully and let the building commence!
The village of
Aberriw
will kick us off.

The values are listed in your PM. I can't post them here because the specifics of your hand (or indeed anyone else's) is not public knowledge. The 2 villagers you took is known to everyone, but not the first 5 in your hand.

It matters which ones you pick, yes. If the villager has a Food, it'll add 1 to your Draft Limit, and likewise for a Builder, adding 1 to your Build Limit. Gold will be scored at the First Market when the first 2 stacks have been depleted.

You'll probably need a Basic Villager to start a chain. Let's look at a Mason, which is the first villager you took (and in this case
is
public knowledge):

Image
Mason

Chain: Miner -
Mason

2 Gold
1 Food

It has a chain of
Miner-Mason
, so before you put the Mason down, you'll need to already have a Miner in your Village. Fortunately, it's easy to get a Miner: simply return one of your villagers in your hand to one of the stacks on the Road. Any villager works.

If you returned a villager in exchange for a Miner, you'll be able to put down the Mason. You'll score 1 Food (increasing the number of villagers you can take by 1) and 2 Gold (scored in the First Market).

Let's look at the other villager you took:

☒ Wine Trader

Chain: Graper - Vintner -
Wine Trader

Glass Blower
14 Gold

In this case, the chain is longer but it's also worth more Gold. However, you'll need the Graper and the Vintner before you can put down your Wine Trader. Both of them are hidden somewhere, but it's good to consider if you can get them because they're rather rare. There's only 2 of each villager, and other people might have some you need in their hands, potentially locking you out. If you can complete the chain though, the reward is pretty big.

Finally, solitary villagers can be played directly because they don't need a chain.

I've also re-sent your hand via PM.
Does it matter which ones I pick? I can’t see the values attached to it like I did when I initially picked them.
Return Villager 1 to stack for Hayer.
Return Villager 6 to stack for Miner

Oh no, this isn't what I'm talking about. I'm sorry, this must have been mangled in my description.

From what I can gather, you probably wanted to place Villagers 1 and 6 to your Village, so you'd like a Hayer and a Miner for the 1 and the 6.
In that case, you would return two villagers
other
than 1 and 6 for the Hayer and the Miner, and
then
play 1 and 6.

I think it's fair to flag this as an ambiguous turn, so I'll amend the timer to 24 hours from this post.
You have (expired on 2020-11-14 12:26:00) to finish your turn.

I was figuring out this last night and fell asleep and am waiting on the mod. I promise to make a quick decision as soon as I hear from him. Sorry guys.
