neither of them really feel like town/I will never feel confident enough in both of them being town to ever want them to be an endgame couple?

And how does Maria/Bulge explain the game any more than DGB/DD

i think maria/bulge red means dunn/akarin goes to endgame and possibly even dgb/dd

maria/bulge green might make me flip dunn/akarin and id play for endgame

MariaR seems less like a policyish player than Dunn to me so I hold the greenflip against her moreso than Dunn.

I find Dunnstral's dance partner townier than MariaR's.

dgb/dd wasn't reliant on maria/bulge at all.

Akarin doesn't have a high correlation to maria/bulge

It's not a matter of policy Isis

DGB-DD was the best flip in my mind. Seeing them both as town is info, despite what oka seems to think.

The majority of the playerlist felt the elimination was inevitable... so why put it off.

i think a maria red is a somewhat soft clear on dgb/dd given that maria has been gunning to remove that slot since middle of predance but it doesn't work vice versa where dgb/dd reveals too much about maria ~ im not sure a red maria's play would ever be let pooky die AND flip a red partner instantly

maria going after you is also kinda going after akarin. id give maria >>rand odds at reading you so if i could get her alignment, i could just use her as a divination rod on you

i just wanted to put of dgb/dd because personally i wasn't going really reconsider any reads after flipping them regardless of their alignment so im kinda just like, maybe just pretend it never happened? idk

idk how i feel about a flip that involves taylor rn because like. i said as much to leuz that the entire situation where taylor picks bell, the simple solution of Why just ends up for me being 'taylor is town and picked the townier person' rather than something convoluted like they're all scum together and somehow they couldn't manage to be proactive enough and it all went to shit for them and they had to sacrifice one of their partners or something like that so, taylor at least just Is town in my eyes.

for bell... meeh, they're like a non-entity from what i recall here so it feels like a just 'okay, i guess' situation but i don't think that's like, ever something i'd really want to do/settle for since it's so mediocre and non-productive

I think there is probably scum in the early lolpairs, because Pooky is a player that would normally early lolpair, but he didn't do it this game. So I think he was trying to diversify.

Like scum!Pooky always halfasses an attempt to pair with me yes but if none of his partners are fastpairing he follows it up by lolpairing (usually with Ydrasse in particular but I think he would make a more serious attempt on someone else like maybe shelly)

pedit: policyish was meant to convey my discomfort with that precise term. Maybe a better word would be "utility eliminations".

anyways i think we are somewhat incentivized to do a similar flip to a dgb/dd flip and just go after a meh pairing since we are heading into intermission

I think we might as well cull this pairing because its not endgaming and now that next phase in intermission, going for momentum elims are not necessary. maybe having night phase to reset and have a bigger picture of what happened end of predance will be helpful.

also like, regarding shelly and hectic, i don't know if i can get a reasonable read on them or at least i haven't yet. shelly feels different than some of her games (i say this a lot it feels like to her, lmao) in the sense that the way that she approaches pushes/people feels watered down, and i'm unsure if that's a result of internalizing a lot of her discussion with hectic but like. i don't /want/ them to be scum because i wanna play with them but they're a pairing i don't think can make it to endgame for me without me sitting there like, just going "no no no"

my hope is that they towntell more/like, i can interact with them more (i got MAFIA ENERGY now) when they're around on the thread but otherwise right now they're both pretty fuzzy unhappy slots for me
