you just spent like 2 pages talking about ICs, quasi-softing masons, and maybe implying you had a hood when each of those activities are very common scum gambits in games moderated by boon specifically

acting as though you are IC because you think your role is likely true because the mech flavor is similar is dumb. GX is decently town off play but despite your constant insistence you be townread I don't think there's an overwhelmingly strong case for Terror town off play so far. And filling the thread with noise is also a common tactic for scum in boon games.

So yeah I wouldn't say I'm annoyed so much as if you're town you're playing bad and making the game harder to read by doing all the things scum love to do in boon games

There's already one flipped variant, flipping another variant is the mechanically correct play to make the game readable and push the overall gamestate into normal status.

Also, it's unlikely for town to have all three variant roles.

I mean you can say it doesn't make you scum but why is scum ascetic with a scum informed that town has a commuter reflavored to parallel universe impossible or unlikely? Why do you think scum commuter would have a different flavor? Why do you think scum could not simply bluff their role and agree to whatever role was implied by their counterpart in the town? Like some of this is mildly complicated by "scum informed" basically makes all of it plausible and in any case there was no real need for either of you to hard claim and there's no *true mechanical reason* to see either of you as IC. If you are both commuters then you probably are like 40% of the town's power structure and you just wasted the most important thing you can do which is eat scum night kills so I really just *do not* get any of what you have done right now from a town-oriented strategic POV

What is the possibility of an informed role in the scum team in a game where there are multiple normal roles reflavored? I'd say maybe 75%

I don't think that GX "slipping" meant you need to hardclaim at all

You're acting like: a) informed is an uncommon role (it's not)
b) scum would have different flavor than town for the same role (they wouldn't)
c) scum couldn't just fakeclaim ascetic and then change to commuter (they could)
d) scum would have no counter-play around flavor in a game where many roles are reflavored

In any case I have currently a stronger claim to being IC since the setup confirms there is a VT and so far there is no flipped VT. Until you see another VT, you should treat me as IC :3
