Did we ever finish the discussion of whether anyone has ever seen a town role cop?

Ok so I think it can be either alignment but I've never seen it as a town role. I think it's defo more commonly a scum role but I'm certain it *can* potentially be a town role. I think flubber probably is a real role cop regardless of alignment cuz fake claiming role cop is kinda dumb? So many roles to fake claim. Rolecop does not strike me as a good fake claim ever.

I think Flubber probs is an even day rolecop. Whether or not he is town is really difficult to say and the role cop role really throws me off cuz the moment I see that role, I kinda just think "scum" cuz its waaaaaaay more often a scum role :/

I know I'm town and I know Hop is town based on my check. And even if it isn't just the simple fact that I gun checked him, he is the only locktown in the game across the board and there's no way scum will get a day lynch on that slot at all, so logically he will be the NK tonight more than likely unless the scum try to WIFOM "why is hop still alive?" But hop is cleared as soon as I am flipped and confirmed as gunsmith. So no NK really makes sense except Hop tonight so there's no point in lynching there even outside of the fact that I massively TR him and investigated him. That leaves me at {Flubber, derp} and derp is clearly not getting the pressure he should. Do unless we can reconsider wagoning derp I guess I'll vote flubber. Need to check VCs to see if I'm close to hammer first.

Oh btw I wanted to say something. Doubt its of importance but when you said this, I immediately thought of one of my past mini normals where I was mafia doc and town had a gunsmith. The gunsmith doesn't ever detect a gun on a mafia doc. I mean I highly highly doubt hoppy is a mafia doc but I thought I'd share this anyways.

I think how gunsmith works is it can see if a player "has a gun"

From what I know, all mafia members "have a gun" except the role of mafia doc

It doesn't look like anyone is interested in a Trendall lynch today. I'm not sure if rolecop makes sense as scum when Glitch claimed one-shot gunsmith. If the only investigative in town is one-shot that's way too weak.

Does anyone feel like wagoning derp?? It really feels like mafia doc is the mafia godfather to both town rolecop (doc result) and town gunsmith (no gun result).

Yes, thank you for that, I had messaged JV to specifically ask about that, and also asked if a Mafia Doctor Enabler would come back to me as negative for a gun. JV said that was not the case, that hypothetically, a Mafia Doctor Enabler who is checked by a gunsmith would return a result POSITIVE for a gun. I got negative so unless he's maf doc, he is town.

And if there's a maf doc in this game, it's freaking derp, no doubt about that.

I reread the thread overnight but then basically completely forgot what I was gonna say so bear with me while I get my second reread going.
I have a few questions/requests before my second reread

1) I want a reads list from everyone. Those past flimsy lil things are not acceptable cuz this is Lylo. 50 pages is not a difficult reread. Maybe everyone should do it.
2) thoughts on derp specifically? If Hopkirk were still alive, I'd have said one of derp and hoppy had to be scum cuz it never makes sense for two powerful prs to be alive nearing lylo. but now I have a shitload of wifom possibilities that is killing me. someone talk to me about it so I dont feel insane. I'm paranoid of derp atm but I'm not sure if I'm just confbiasing the shit out of everything bc I'm legit paranoid of all the remaining prs atm and if that's the scum team, town is like .... very underpowered.
