I agree but also I tried to use logic like that recently and failed miserably

Okay... But in this circumstance where C4 almost certainly knew he would be on the chopping block?

It is certainly more likely to be AI with a newbie but didn't c4 say something about possibly replacing out? I'll look for it later

But that feeds into the narrative... He was busy, got jailed N1 andnlost the night kill... So he bails... Cyl is on her first forum game and doesn't wait around for the replacement.

I agree with the logic but I also think there is enough in the isos we don't need to rely on that

I thought we weren't supposed to read into replacements.

Also I was convinced the game would be over today cos a full day of conftown CAT seems super helpful imo and I was surprised by your reaction EoD3 (aka pls no/useful tracker)

I say let's get it right today then. I hate final situations

I'll look at stuff this evening

I think this is up to Umlaut but I read the rule recently and there is not text specifically prohibiting it. It's more telling people to replace out and stuff like that. But If umlaut would prefer we don't that is of course the final word on it

I hope you aren't upset I was scum reading you still, I was just really thrown by 72's play. I still think D3 should have happened on D2 but 72 had a different plan and I'm sorry I blew it up. If we could have interacted throughout D1 I'm sure I would have been able to realize what he was doing as he was softing it, but it was just too far from what I was used to from his town game and no one was really pushing him on it.

I don't specifically prohibit players discussing the possible reasons for a replacement after it has happened. Site rules (and my rules) prohibit players from making in-thread replace-out statements, threatening to replace out, or advising other players to replace out.

Got it. Yeah, that narrative makes sense. Still super sus of Safebet though

Ftr, I was never unhappy with being scumread. Honestly it was refreshing. Becoming a UTR is kinda unpleasant when you feel like you don't have anything to contribute. I was frustrated because it felt like I wasn't being given an option to defend myself

I will probably go through some more isos but I'm ok with spangled being the target right now. I should take a close look at egix though

I don't get how it's sus to suggest a perfectly plausible narrative. You can agree or not agree with the narrative, but saying I'm sus for suggesting it doesn't make sense, especially when you see it as a perfectly plausible narrative.

Mizzy, don't get me wrong, I understand the impulse to question my spot, just judge me for things that make sense, not things that don't.

I know I’m defending myself here, but it could
easily
be a coincidence. Some people figure out that they don’t like playing mafia, some people figure out that they hate playing in a lurkfest. Someone could have had a commitment come up at their workplace or school, etc. etc. There are any number of factors, really.
I proved myself a coward, who would desert a dying man.

Well that makes absolutely no sense.

Egix, a question. You've scum read Spangled consistently throughout this game.

Startish of d2 you put forward three players you find scummy - Spangledslot, 72 and ffslot.

End of d2 you show up with 3 wagons. What makes you choose the one Spangled is on?

It's because I thought that offsuit was more likely to be scum than ffery was, and I already thought that offsuit and Spangled were teamed anyway.
