Glad to hear you guys.

Wow that was quick! I took one in July and waited 30 days for results. Thirty days.

I also had to administer it myself... shoving a stuck up my nose for 15 seconds. When I started, they said "don't sneeze, or you have to start over"
I wanted to sneeze so bad.... lol

Yeah the place I went to is same-day results... but the wait to be good to TAKE the test after potential exposure is the scariest part.

Anyways.

Help me square my circle, miss negative results?

Did you not read my post? I said I was stepping away for a little while.

I don't know what you're looking for out of me right now. You push away my attempts at engaging you. You point and laugh at me working through other aspects of the game. There's a gaping hole where I usually find hints about your take on the game.

Maybe that's all my fault? This is the ffery you get this game. I'm no dethy queen and right now I don't even feel like there's a neuterhalf to bounce ideas off. You haven't earned anywhere near enough trust in how YOU'RE processing the game for me to follow you around.

The one thing I keep coming back to is that I don't believe this is how scum-you would choose to (dis)-engage me.

I feel like my choices to play this game without the rabid connection building/dance at the start of day one has hamstrung this game and really backfired in my face.

I don't think a re-do will fix anything.

I'm probably going to be ready to put down a GiF style readslist tonight.

Maybe that's a starting place.

Working on it.
In post 1091, Prism wrote:I wasn't really bothered by Syr early and concurred that people weren't giving them enough credit for sorting. You can joke around and still give content. Liking me more than FGO made a lot of sense given how diametrically opposed my entrance was from FGO.

This was the only thing I disliked:

Watching you and Cabd interact is far more telling than anything I could say or ask.
That's how I read you in smoke. So what's the problem here, exactly?
In post 281, Syryana wrote:
In post 252, Cabd wrote:I feel a great disturbance in my nap. As if syr is leaning too hard into the shit posting realm to dodge Ffery and I, and it's scary.

Ffery I think we might have to end him for mercy.
Ffery and I are busy. Shoo.
Saying stay out of Syr/ffery's interactions is a bit different than sorting via ffery-Cabd interactions, but it's weird to not want to see more Cabd-ffery interactions with yourself added as a bonus.

Seeing it followed by this is kinda bizarre:
In post 657, Syryana wrote:My vote is less about ffery being town and more about Cabd being scum. Back when ffery and I were sorting each other on page 10 or so he hopped in a couple times to egg ffery into scumreading me, or at least prevent us from townreading each other. Now, he's done it again, except with bork and ffery. Me too a bit, but the primary interaction was between ffery and bork. I should have known after all that pantomime sighing about never drawing a red PM
This one seems a lot more plausible than the first I quoted. I get that you're saying Cabd is trying to run interference on two towns finding each other by jumping in with something like this vote.

I'm just confused as to what ffery/Cabd interactions you're actually looking forward to reading since the attempts Cabd has made to engage have been met with hostility.
Smoke Filled Antechamber by FakeGod is an excellent metric to see the kind of ffery/Cabd interactions I'm talking about. Day 1, ISO the two of them. Granted, that game was a bit of an outlier due to all the wild crumbing and the dethy and whatever else, but it's still a good example of how ffery and Cabd tend to mindmeld when they're both town together. Here, I'm in the middle of talking to ffery and Cabd hops in with his cheery little "ffery syr's shitposting too much he must be scum" deal, which doesn't really do anything other than muddy the waters/potentially stoke fferynoia on me. In retrospect he was probably reaction testing me but at the time I'm like oi me n fairylit are sorting each uvver fuck off. Which he thankfully did. However, it did plant the squinty eyed seed that eventually bloomed into my vote on him when he voted ffery later. Your interpretation seems to ignore the context in which Cabd was injecting himself. If he wanted to have a little powwow I'm more than happy, but that's not really what it looked like he was doing at the time.

I was gonna quote your readslist and do some stuff but by the time I got here I didn't care anymore so maybe later? I don't agree with elements or Vax or benhalkum being that high nor do I care for ffery/cabd/bork/skitter being that low.

I understand that the context was more hostile in the former than genuinely cooperative. I guess this might be more of a playstyle commentary: You got your chance to get the kind of interactions you wanted, and let them slip completely.

I look forward to hearing why I shouldn't have skitter that low.

Elements/benhalkum are weak but Vax's revote essentially forecloses any chance they're scum imo, despite it coming after my list.
