I'm open to other perspectives, but I need more than "y'all are doing poorly" in order to reevaluate. Who is scum that we are townreading? Why?

My main issue is that you guys have pooky and a50 in your flippools when what they're being scumread for is utterly nai for them

TOWN AND SCUM ALIKE MAY HAVE ROLES THAT WORK DIFFERENTLY IN THE OTHER TIME LINE (OR EVEN WORKS IN ONE TIMELINE AND NOT THE OTHER)

It thus follows that scum reading someone based on them wanting to switch to the other timeline is bad practice. It also means that stating that scum may have roles that work better on the other thread is telling us what we already know, just by noticing how many people want to switch between the 2 threads.
(Hell, some have even claimed their PRs, and some have crumbed it. Some haven't bothered -or maybe I didn't notice their crumbs- but it's OBVIOUS they don't want to switch merely to be in someone else's company)

No it wasn't. It served it's purpose fully.

They asked a question and I explained, but they wanted me to reiterate what's been posted by the two they asked about, and I'm not feeling like wasting my time typing what's readily available if they just as much as ISO the two against each other. My vote shut down that line of pretence to being busy doing something. They can do that with someone else.

I am very, very, very bad at articulating what exactly makes it town for him, but i know it when i see it
(I've tried many many times over those ~15 games and i just dont have words for how i know other than 'soulread'. I'm not literally infallible, but i nearly always get it right)

So hp is a little bit more abstract and again hard to put into words but here we go and i'll try. It's less abt what they're posting and almost more abt the gamestate surrounding them when they do it

When there was the mod error last night r.e. second turnstile, and i was once again softing heavily, the number of scumreads on me in your thread suddenly went from 1 (titus) to 3 (titus, unwnd, hp). The uptick wasnt natural, and it was reading to me like scum realized they needed fo start putting in the legwork to make me perceived as scummy in *that* thread (i.e. as opposed to here)

Titus's seems kinda moonlogicy but i believe it makes sense to her and her progression is internally consistenf (albeit very wrong)
Unwnd's was ok and i can kinda see it coming from either alignment
Hp's came out of nowhere (i.e. with no progression) at a time where it would be very conveninet for scum to be having that take

That's why i keep calling out that grouping, and why i think hp is the worst in them

In that sense, I haven't been able to track why Skitter is being voted. It just literally happened, like a murmur that turned into a bunch of loud voices convinced that Skitter was scum. The progression is concerning, and if there is a bus in play it is far more subtle and not even being tracked. The few who are town and voting Skitter are likely just sheeping someone they believe is town, but again I refer back to the whole contingency plan. There is none.

No offense but this seems like a much higher level of thought than most people put into their reads as scum, and I think two new people scumreading you around the same time could easily be a coincidence.
