I intend to perform a quick re-read tonight, especially the few pages i missed while dead, but i'm not so convinced that Adel isn't our SK. (Oh yeah, i'm fairly sure it's a SK, not mafia that's alive against us - mathematics seems to tell me so).

You guys have a Prisoner's dilemma that you get to figure out. I'll give you a few days to talk it out before I vote for a no-lynch.

Basically, you have to kill each other tonight. Lowell has the fairly common "you win if only you and a member of the mafia are left alive in end-game" as part of his role. I doubt it is in his role PM, I think he got that answer from asking the mod early in the game.

Clearly i didn't make that kill and clearly two kills were made.

So, Lowell and Adel, seems you two are in the prisoner's dilema situation, needing to choose between me and each other. Alternatively, if a mafia kill would resolve before a SK'ers kill, then there may only be a SK left and whoever my fellow townie is needs to help me eliminate the SK.

Adel slipped like hell with that last result. First you say crabby didn't move, now you're certain he's scum and I'm SK. You're just making things up.

1) Adel is definately scum of some kind based on her take on crabby last night.

2) IT DOESN'T MATTER if there's a prisoner's dilemma. If Adel dies today then town wins, regardless of crabby's alignment. Basically, there's no reason to take the chance that we're NOT in a prisoners dilemma situation if we don't have to.

Erratus Apathos was the mafia goon, and he made the night action. You would have to be the other mafia goon since you didn't make a night action. You can't be a SK since the Sk made a kill last night.

Lowell and Crabby took a screaming and kicking Adel all the way to the gallows. Finally, the kicking stopped as the noose went over her head and she resigned herself to her non breathing future. "Well have fun tonight boys," she cried "I wasn't a goon so one of you must be! At least neither of you will get the satisfaction of winning now!"

As lowell and crabby walked off, hand in hand, crabby's head spun in circles. "Why on earth would she keep up that charade to the very end?" he thought to himself. "Err, lowell", he stammered, "are you mafia?"
"Nope" the reply came with a smile.
Crabby felt relieved for only a second before he realised.. "So if Adel wasn't mafia.. was she a serial killer?"
"Nope" the reply came once again with monstrous grin.
"And how do you know that for sure?"
"Just a hunch", lowell remarked before carefully taking his gun out and shooting crabby in the chest.
"Oh" the weak reply came, "my bad".

Great game guys, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did watching it. Any comments about my modding or the setup would be great so that I can further my skills next time I give it a shot! I'll try post up role PMs/night actions/comments tonight cause I've got to go right now.

Why did I have to go and use my ability on the last night... I thought that the SK would follow HC's advice and kill Adel, so I hid behind who I thought was the scum. If Adel was SK, then I thought she would kill clammy for his quick hammer on HC on day 3.

Anyway, props to EA for his bus of CR (when I was rereading before HC flipped town I was so sure it couldn't be you), and Lowell for pulling off one of the hardest win conditions out there.

I've been following this game ever since I died, and I have to give Lowell credit, he did a great job. That having been said, if Clock hadn't been so scummy, I think Lowell would have gotten the lynch on D2. I certainly would have been pushing for it. Something about the way he was worried about being lumped in with Quagmire on Day 1 seemed wrong to me... Then again, I was dead.

Curious to know what the other players thought about the mass claim: did it hurt us or help us?

Awesome Pants, great modding! The way you organized the information for the players was exemplary. I'm not very good with game mechanics, so I'll leave that to others.

Overall, a really fun game.

Yeah, a lot of things went right for me.

First, I can't believe I survived the gunsmith investigation. It pretty much forced my hand in my claim, but I thought the idea of a "duelist", basically a miller, might play, given the other roles out there. I tried to lay a cloud of smoke with the grammatical details of my made-up role. I'd like to think I succeeded in fooling everyone, but I probably just bored them to death.

I killed clammy the first time because I got slight mafia vibes from him, and because I thought he'd be an unlikely target by anyone else.

I killed guzame because I thought he was mafia. He said he was a vig that killed yos, but I knew since I killed clammy there had to be a mafia kill in there as well. In hindsight it was naive of me to think mafia would claim THEIR OWN KILL but call it vig, but for some reason that was my logic. That, and, of all the claims, his seemed the most unlikely.

The EA kill was easy. I was almost certain Adel was telling the truth about her role. Her idea for claiming is pretty much the only thing that got us CR in the first place, and I highly doubted she would bus her partner so unnecessarily. I believed reborn's claim as well, so that left me basically with EA as the only logical option.

What helped more was all the buzz Adel was getting as potential SK. It was just enough to throw EA off in his attempt to find me but made it all the easier to find him. I fully expected that as the last day dawned town would have already won. I was 95% sure EA had to be the scum, but, looking around, I figured there was a 50% chance he'd choose Adel and 50% chance he'd choose me.

The MOST beneficial thing, however, was Adel's semi-blundering of the last day (sorry, Adel, no offense). I felt throughout that there would be only 2 mafia to balance an SK in a game this small, but for some reason Adel sold the "Prisoner's Dilemma" scenario, which opened the door even more.

Good game all. This was my first time as SK. I must say I'm pretty proud of myself!

Sorry, I should add, EA not killing me OR Adel was a huge bonus. I'm not sure I would have been able to talk myself out of a reborn/crabby/Lowell endgame.
