For me if it's not this then it's {Spiffeh, Dunn, Toogeloo}, and I actually do see Spiffeh as more town now so I'm inclined to think the former over the latter right now, honestly.

Like I've said. While there's a guarantee of 1-2 scum (1 if we're wrong on a townread, 2 if the poe is correct) in {Dunnstral, Spiffeh, DEB} and a guarantee of at least one scum in {DEB, Dunnstral}, Toogeloo is scum regardless of the others in the poe pool. There's 1-2 scum in Dunn/Debb and 1 scum in Toog and then 0-1 scum elsewhere. If the townreads are right, Spiffeh.

I keep trying to help solve this game and try to figure out who’s scum but it seems no matter what I post, it makes no difference. I was in a game like that. Even when the guy who stopped my miselim got NK’d I didn’t get believed. I tried so hard and I still don’t understand what happened. I even got so pissed I even self-voted and got miselimed while I was sleeping. The worst part was that I was so upset about not getting believed that I forgot to claim my tpr and got blamed for that post game. I didn’t expect to ever be in that situation again but that’s what it seems like to me and I or Noraa will get blamed for our miselim just like in that game.

Now I am willing to keep trying but not if I keep getting this kind of response. So to answer your question, if you’ve already got your mind made up about our alignment, I won’t bother and you can miselim us but if I continue to keep trying my best and I just feel like I’m wasting my time, sure I will definitely be pissed in that case.

How motivated would you be if you were really trying to solve a game and every time you opened the thread, no matter what you do, you keep seeing this kind of response. At what point would you give up caring?

I mean I've been in this situation many times cuz I've always been an elimbaity player, especially when I was first starting out.
I kind of just came to realize that being a miselim means scum will go after you and that that is your best way to find scum.
I've also come to realize that if someone just expects me to die, that I should just be doing as much as I can. I may think I'm town from my PoV, but that doesn't mean everyone else sees it, so for me if I'm town I'm just trying to do my part. It may feel awful and hell I've even snapped and told FL who was hard tunneling "bro the fuck you want me to do?" but even in that environment I felt like I always just did what I needed to do. Scumhunt post reads push reads talk about the game, try to make the most out of the situation.

I'm insecure too and I want my efforts to feel like they're being cared about and I want people to townread me too, but thats not gonna happen every game. Even if you die your posts might not be cared about. I know that that might not be true considering if we kill a bunch of town to only find out that by the time we're in F5 theres 2 scum alive while ur dead and a lot of the people who the masonry went out of their way to flip are people like spiffeh and toogeloo, then okay maybe you might have been right about ydra or something.

So to answer your question, my amount of motivation would stay the same.
I would still be malding and fuming and babyraging but as town, the puzzle is what pulls me into the game and the puzzle itself is engaging enough for me to solve that it doesn't matter to me if no one cares.
I think its really frustrating when you don't have the charisma to get people to help you kill the people you want dead, I've lost games because I was right but could't convince the other players, Pooky knows first hand. But that's kind of just how the game works.

If ur town, the situation may suck but just try to do what you can.
I mean just look at Toogeloo
He thought that if he tried to case noraa it would be useful because he's just trying to do what he can.
He even is okay with being the person that hammers just because he's just trying to do what he can.
