I'm scumreading pooky, skitter, and to a lesser extent midway and you. Midway's level of engagement today so far is troubling in and of itself. Your claim gave me bad vibes.

I'm feeling cautious about LLD in part due to the concerns that Tammy had about her, though Cabd's town read there carries a lot of weight with me.

I am strongly on team no-turnstile in the Reverse thread. Today gives the Forwards thread 2 last chances to clear scum out. Moving one of our scumreads to their thread today uses up one of those chances and forces them to eliminate or sort our problem rather than a problem of their own on the last day where they have a chance to IC their player list. That benefits the whole game, both threads if it happens. Even if scum have a lot of control here before the threads come together, that will be a big pile of ICs to NK through, and the town from both threads will be able to work together more effectively during the day.

I know there's a lot of discussion in the forwards thread about how to optimize today and we don't have control of what they decide. We can refuse to add complexity to that situation, though.

It's hard to predict what might have changed NachoTammy's minds about the gamestate today, but I don't see anything so far that negates the plan they came up with on N1 for the forwards thread and the turnstile.

Starting Day 3, we should definitely look at eliming the strongest scumreads from both threads and using the turnstile to facilitate that if there's not a stronger reason to move townread PR claims to a thread where they can use that ability.

bork and I are not entirely of one mind on who to elim, and it comes down to different playstyles and how we form reads. I support what he's doing to generate the data he needs. This is why we moved from elim-voting skitter to pooky. I scumread them both and am more worried about skitter. bork is more worried about pooky.

Okay I will try to respectfully object to this plan with logic I think you can agree with.

1. We have 3 people who want to be turnstyled, and 3 days to get them all over.
2. Turnstyling skittle puts our thread in a great spot because we have another consensus elim option (pooky)
3. The plan has the same efficacy done from either thread, so if we turnstyle + elim it gives us the same info/scenario
4. Sending skittle over allows her to use her power if she is town. If she isn't town, then sending her over gives us the best chance of getting the IC scenario anyways
5. In the likely outcome that the IC plan does not work, the plan should put both threads in a good place. Sending skittle over (whether they choose to elim her or not) and limming pooky here accomplishes this goal.

That is not true....

It is. The confirmation of one scum in a thread doesn't make one thread any more likely to have more scum. We already know both threads have at least 1 scum anyways - you are committing a fallacy here. It does, however, mean the "send over scum" part of the plan is guaranteed to happen, meaning the chances of the plan working do actually increase.

Protective claims under duress always squick me a little because they play to town's wishful thinking. bodyguard is a claim that has a shelf life, which makes it less useful to scum for getting deep into the game, which is a mitigating point imo.

Exactly, I'm not so sure you have a great option right now. On the other hand our thread has 2 people we would like to kill (or, in skittle's case, at least send to the other thread so that she can use her role). Which is why my plan is setting us up better even if it fails (which we all admit, this plan is pretty likely to fail)
