like I can't really read posts like these as anything other than a LAMIST attempt at engaging Nancy because the focus seems to be on coming off looking *good* in the engagement

I don't see you trying to redirect the conversation in a way that'll actually get you to read Nancy better and you've clearly been given the information that engaging her in this way won't produce AI noises

I don't care what your excuse is, the fact is whenever someone wants you to actually explain the read you don't and it makes me feel like you're bad faith pushing me because I don't respond well to pressure but can't justify it to anyone

i just play enchanter supports and then a few adcs/mages mid, my ~favorites~ rn are nami/seraphine/lux/lulu, and have wanted to play orianna again since i used to main her. oh morgana too but she always gets banned

I feel like a lot of what you're doing around the slot is not very genuine? Like I understand people having personality clashes with the slot and not really understanding how they tend to function, but skitter has told you multiple times that Nancy's rather reactive reads aren't AI indicative for the slot, so your repeated efforts to try and get something else out the slot feel like busywork.

Like the quality of them not wanting to "talk about anything but themselves and how much they should be townread" is not a basis for a scum read on that slot, something skitter knows and has tried to tell you multiple times. The reason I'm so wary is Nancy is a very easy scum read to hold because of how reactive she can be to reads on her. I don't really get the sense from your prodding of the slot that you're trying to solve the slot by getting their opinions on other people.

Instead you're doing this LAMISTy thing where you tell them to solve and not worry about reads on them instead of like... actually digging deeper into your scum read on them?

If you haven't encountered this type of player before I understand having an aversion to the slot at first, but it seems like you're using a shallow first impression to push a scum read instead of going any number of levels deeper

That's a very circumstantial and a bit uninformed look about our interactions, I don't know why you made assumptions based on one or two instances of dialogue, given there is more to it. I've asked her to clarify on her reads (and other things such as her 'THERE MUST BE SCUM IN THE GAMMA VOTES') and instead she just goes back to essentially 'well you should townread me and im obvtown' you can see this for yourself. As for why I try to appease to her and say 'im not scumreading you for being nancy and I can't read AtE'? Should explain itself. At some point I have to make a logical conclusion that there is ulterior motive and that she is having trouble faking reads, so to make up for that she just ignores the necessity to do so.

No clue, I'm just going to play it with some buddies, and I'm sure it'll be fun. It'll be like a different game, though.

She's new, I don't really know much of her.

Anivia just kind of happened for me. I used to play a lot, I was Gold in Season 4, but that's the best I've ever been. She was really strong one patch, and then I realized I have the correct type of positioning to be able to play her well. She's like my 3rd, but I saw tier lists say TF and Ziggs were pretty low right now, and I hadn't played Articuno in years.

I'm pretty good at TFT, I haven't played much of it, but I'm naturally pretty good at that kind of game.

I don't have an indepth assertion of their slot because this game isn't providing intricate tells, so a lot of what I consider is based at a surface level. None of their posts as of late indicate they want to talk about anything but themselves and how much they should be townread. It is in fact doing the opposite for me.
