If said clearing role is a "I need one night to be confirmed" I'm not buying it. After that comes the "scum has a roleblocker and they're setting me up". If she wants to buy time, we're not selling it.

(1) if she is scum and waits to claim, she gets to see how dire her situation is before deciding how strong of a role to claim.
(2) if we aren't allowed to kill her for a while, then people will probably get distracted and start focusing on other people. In my experience this is definitely a thing that happens; put some distance between the case and the claim, and people will forget about why they were scumreading her so strongly.
(3) people might say things like PB just did that will help her decide what kinds of claims would or would not be believable.

It was at Spring Breeze. And sure, people can say 'give her time'. But it doesn't feel like she's interested in engaging back for whatever reason. I had to check with mods if this was allowed and had Hectic help me phrase this but I'm not convinced she doesn't have time when she's elitelling in other games but refuses to engage with this game and actively lurks (somehow she knew was being cased too despite allegedly being away - which gives credibility to the idea of a day scum chat).
